Bitter sweet experience

Enjoyable stay.
Pros: Beautiful garden. Nice, quiet private beach (BIG plus for this!). Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty dinner. Superb location (easy to get to Patong and Kamala beach). Very big swimming pool.
Cons: Our room was next to the storage room, so every morning there were a crowd of cleaning staff in front of our door (which was made of glass), making me feel a bit lack of privacy. There was no indoor baby playing area.

A great place to unwind and enjoy the tropics.
Pros: We had a cottage in the second row. This one afforded a good view of the ocean. It was spacius and quiet, and clean and comfortable. The resort had a tailor and a shop:. The petting zoo was a delight. We also discovered and walked through the “secret garden”, as well as taking the cable car up to the highest rooms. Ths was a most unusual feature. Breakfasts were very good with a wide range of differenet foods.
Cons: Did not like the lounges by the pool. Could not get comfortable and kept slipping down.

Pros: I really liked the hotel! The beach is clean, huge swimming pool. Good breakfast and dinner options. We stayed in garden villa next to the beach.
Cons: Amount of russian people, how loud they are.

Stunning and fun!
Pros: Quiet, peaceful & beautiful. Staff were absolutely lovely and the restaurants/bars were an absolute hit! Rooms were super clean and spacious - bed was comfy & water was always freshly stocked
Cons: Didn’t realise in the photos the foreshore discolour was actually all rocks, could get to the actual ocean for a swim & didn’t realise this place was out of town. Had to organise a lift everytime we wanted to go somewhere outside the hotel. Still central, just hadn’t realised it wasn’t walking distance to anything.

Lovely seaside resort with amazing views!
Pros: Spacious and many things to do (pool, petting zoo, shops, restaurants, activities, etc).
Cons: The drive by cart up the hill can be a bit difficult on the stomach. Also, depending on rush times, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes to receive a driver with cart.

Very pleasant
Pros: The location of the hotel is good. Our room was well located within the grounds, with easy access to both the pool and the beach. The room was spacious, well maintained and good quality, which made for a very comfortable stay. The pool is a standout feature — generously sized and never felt overcrowded — and the gardens are beautifully kept, creating a calm and attractive setting. The presence of animals around the grounds added to the charm..
Cons: The reception experience was underwhelming, with staff seeming a little disengaged and not as efficient as expected. Breakfast offered a wide selection, however the overall quality could be improved

An indulgent stay!
Pros: For our honeymoon, we chose to stay at Thavorn Resort & Spa and we are so glad we did! The whole site is immersed in luscious greenery and the gardens themselves are a site to behold. We chose the pool access villa which was perfect for us to go for a quick dip whenever we wanted. Our room was fantastic and had everything we needed and more! The facilities are vast and there is plenty to do if you prefer to spend your days in the resort including multiple bars and restaurants, painting classes, water activities, Thai boxing and also free shuttles to the local towns which is really helpful. If you do wish to spend your time mostly at the resort, expect western prices however the quality is good. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and would do everything they could to make your experience memorable. The hotel is located about 45-60 minutes from Phuket town but you can visit towns much closer if you would prefer, including Kamala and Patong.
