Namaka Resort Kamala

Nice hotel and view but …..

Pros: The hotel is located on the hillside overlooking Kamala Bay and first impressions were excellent. The decor and design of the hotel is very good. However our room was in block 3 which is high up on the hillside, it had a lovely view but you really needed a lift in the buggy to get to the building. The room itself was impressive, with plenty of room, with everything clean, tidy and good working order. Breakfast was a good a comprehensive selection of different foods to sort all tastes.

Cons: The maintenance around the pool area was very poor though. A small water slide with more water running down the sides than the slide itself. Missing, broken tiles around the edges. Very slippery steps due to green algal slime and a visible “scum” line of green around the pool edge. The pool bar seemed tired, with even the plastic glasses being old and worn. Truly the hotel does have a premium, prestigious feel but it was severely let down by the whole pool area.

Pros: The room was with a brilliant view and the pools are awesome. They have a good services for example transportation to kamala beach and town, which was really a good service.

A beautiful hillside hotel main areas are very pretty needs a refurbishment on rooms

Pros: A beautiful hotel with views from every angle, great restaurant and food nice cocktails , pools were nice

Cons: we were in block 5 and the rooms are large and have great potential but they are in need of a refurbishment and need redecorating . Bar staff not very friendly

Pros: Hotel was ok, not 5 star from my perspective but the best price value ration in Febuary

Pros: Nice spacious rooms, big balcony! Great location! Great cocktails at the pool bar!

Cons: The beds were really firm.

Pros: View was great, pool was great and a quiet part of Phuket but close to Kamala Beach which is warm and rock free Brilliant beach. Food was excellent.

Cons: Breakfast was expensive for Thailand

Pros: Buffet Breakfast, staff were lovely, pool was beautiful and shuttle service extremely useful

Cons: Bed could be a little bit more comfortable

Lovely stay

Pros: I had a great stay here. I had a comfortable room with a wonderful sea view balcony. The hotel has good facilities and the staff were generally helpful and obliging. There was a fairly steep climb up to my room but often there would be golf carts to take you up , although it wasnt too bad to walk. The breakfast was excellent, many, many options and all delicious. Taking breakfast overlooking the sea was a great start to the day. The hotel is a fair distance to Kamala beach but there is timed transport to and from. I opted to walk most times as it only took 15-20 mins. At Kamala beach there are plenty of restaurants and bars.

Cons: I thought the food and drink was overpriced compared to other places but I guess that's to be expected for large resorts.

The best experience ever!

Pros: The staff were amazing and so accommodating. They were extremely helpful with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs for check in and check out! They also offered a complimentary ride service to the beach and nearest market every day. The breakfast buffet was also amazing with an array of halal options. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit small, and the extra bed they put in our room was extremely uncomfortable. However, the two other beds were fine.

Pros: We liked everything about the resort. It was a very beautiful resort located in a quiet area. The views from our apartment and balcony was amazing. The staff were all very helpful and most accommodating. We will be returning and staying longer next time around!!

Cons: Nothing we didn't like about it!
