My Friend's House Karon

Pros: Nice big room. 15mins walk to the beach. Decent swimming pool. Would stay again.

Pros: We had two rooms that joined in the middle with a small kitchen. It was great to have the extra space and two bathrooms with 4 people. The pool was lovely and refreshing.

Cons: There were a few good places to eat nearby but it was a longer walk to get to the beach and bigger shopping areas. Beds were a bit firm for my preference.

Good hotel with a pool

Pros: For the price, it’s an excellent hotel with a pool. The pool is shallow, with soft cushion chairs instead of sun loungers. Rooms facing the pool are quiet. The hotel is quite far from the beach and cafés. If you use a motorbike or car, the city center is a five-minute drive away. Convenient parking for motorbikes and cars. Within walking distance, there’s a gas station with a 7/11 store, a laundry, and an Amazon coffee shop. Daily housekeeping is provided. Very responsive staff.

Cons: The bedding has a synthetic blend, which isn’t very comfortable. The air conditioning is weak. Sunlight shines through the windows most of the day, making the room very hot.

Great stay

Pros: Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. On the main road through Karon so easy for transfers and trips. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Easy check in and checkout. Lovely room, pool access.

Pros: Pool looked nice didn’t go in it but looked good. Beds wernt the best but for 10 pound a night can’t complain

Great value for money

Pros: Great place to stay if you’re looking to spend time at fitness street. 10/15 min walk to there. Staff so friendly. Can rent mopeds from there. 711 right across the road. Rooms lovely and spacious

Lovely, central stay in Karon

Pros: Location very good. Loved the 24 hour pool. Staff were very helpful.

Cons: No lift to third floor so had to carry suitcases up but staff helped. Hard bed but that is normal for Thailand

Pros: The staff was very friendly. Every day they clean our room and gave us new towels, water and toilet paper. The pool was great.

Cons: This hotel is little bit far from the beach. (25 minutes by walk)

2 travellers just passing through

Pros: Location, room size, ensuite facilities, cleanliness and kindness & politeness of the staff. I don't usually require my room to be cleaned everyday, however I was still asked if I still wanted clean towels, tea, coffee, waters etc... which I thought was very kind of the staff. Approx 1mile/1.6Km walk to the beach. Lots of places within easy walking distance to eat and drink. Also, plenty of Scooter hire nearby. The hotel also has a small swimming pool, which was very clean.

Cons: Nothing. It was a positive experience and a great 5 day stay.
