Grand Kata VIP - Kata Beach

Pros: Nice staff, in the middle of the town, not far from the beach.

Cons: Small pool, too much russian inspired breakfast.

Pros: Lovely clean hotel ...nice room and could use pool at sister hotel if required

Pros: Rooms were just perfect, hotel nice and clean, breakfasts delicious and most of all friendly and helpful staff

Pros: We had the bigger corner room with a view to the small pool and it was perfect. Very modern, spacious and great bathroom.

Cons: There was a construction site next to the hotel. At times there was some noise but fortunately our room was on the other side of the building.

Had a really nice stay, would return.

Amazing staff - all of them!

Pros: Staff extremely polite and friendly. Has a couple issues in the beginning with the room but this was dealt with swiftly. Very attentive. Rooms are very clean. 10/10.

Overall great experience but could use some improvements

Pros: The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent, with many options including basics such as cereal, yogurts, eggs, and pancakes. All staff members were very polite, and any requests we had during our stay, like bringing new pool towels, were handled quickly. There are three pools available to use, all of which were clean. The room also had a smart TV. The location is great: Kata Beach is a 10–15 minute walk away, with a free shuttle service running several times a day, while Karon Beach is about a 20-minute walk. Kata Walking Street is just a 2–3 minute walk from the hotel. There is a 7-Eleven right across the street and a laundry service next door. The area felt safe.

Cons: The breakfast area after 09:00 is really crowded and Sometimes it was hard to find a place to sit, and you often had to sit outside in the sun where the temperature was around 30°C. The Wi-Fi was fast, but the hotel system logged you out constantly, requiring you to reconnect at least five times a day. This was quite annoying, as you had to re-enter the username and code every time. There was construction taking place directly across from the hotel. While it was not noticeable in the room, it was very loud at the infinity pool. The gym is small and extremely crowded in the morning, to the point where it’s almost impossible to work out during those hours. At the edge of the infinity pool, where water leaks out, there is a puddle of green, dirty water. This seems like an easy fix and is not aesthetically pleasing. Although guests can use three pools, including one at the neighboring hotel, two of them receive no sun at all and are therefore very cold. The only pool with sun exposure is the infinity pool, which unfortunately has the issues mentioned above.

Pros: . Kata beach is beautiful and quite.breakfast was good and rich with vegetables and fruit. though gluten free needs urgently to be improved

Cons: the room with mountain view was by the main sreeet so we moved to a quite one without a view. a sever luck of toilet paper . only one was supplied each time. my pillow got dirty and they took money from our deposition .

Exceptional family hotel

Pros: Location, clean and good facilities for families. Good size rooms. Good option of multiple pools.

Cons: Breakfast menu was a bit limited.

Pros: The location was great, easy assess to everything. Services and staff at the hotel were excellent! So helpful and efficient.
