The Outdoor Kata Hotel

Good value for money and a clean place.

Pros: The location is great, just over the night market and still I had a quiet room. I was on the 3rd floor so maybe that's better than the lower ones. The room was nicely clean and comfortable.

Cons: The TV didn't work properly (but who needs a TV). The balcony in my room was a bit weird as it was over the stairs somehow indoors with a window, so I guess if you need it for smoking it can be a problem (good thing I needed it only to dry my diving gear). The shower didn't have much pressure and wasn't as hot as I normally like but it's passable and clean.

Nice small hotel, good location and friendly staf

Pros: I stay in The Outdoor Kata for few nights. Hotel is not big but very cozy and calm place. Location is really good – just few mins walk to main street and around 10-15 mins to Kata beach. There are many cafes and shops near, also 7-Eleven just next door. Room was clean and they clean it everyday, change towels, make bed. I had balcony and it was nice to sit outside in evening. Staff are friendly and always smile, they try to help when I ask something. Only small minus – view from my balcony was not very nice, just wall from other building. Also in room there was paper with some rules about stains on bed linen, it look bit strange but ok.

Pros: Best location kata beach. Next to kata night market. 300mt far from.beach. Staff very firendly room big and full renovation. High recommended

Pros: The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of Kata and inside the Kata Night Market area. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk (around 400 meters), which makes it very convenient. There are plenty of affordable food and drink options nearby, as well as many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops around the hotel. The rooms are spacious, renovated, and very comfortable. All rooms are cleaned daily, fresh sheets are provided, and two bottles of water are placed in the room every day. Everything felt clean and fresh during our stay. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. You can also get free beach towels from the reception, which is a nice bonus. The internet connection was fast and reliable. Breakfast was normal, meeting standard 3-star hotel expectations. Overall, it’s a great option in Kata with a central location, clean rooms, and good value for money.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful room! The Outdoor Kata has clearly been recently renovated — everything looks brand new and very stylish. The design is modern and elegant, with warm lighting, golden decorations, and a comfortable bed that feels perfect after a day at the beach. The room is spotless, bright, and welcoming. You can really see the attention to detail in every corner. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and great design in Kata Beach!

Pros: Wonderful stay. The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to Kata Beach. There are many restaurants, shops, and a night market nearby, which makes it very convenient. The room was clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping service. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with any request. Free Wi-Fi worked well in the room. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money and is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in a central area of Phuket.
