Pros: Excellent staff, pool villa superb and cleaned daily with good boat access to mainland

Cons: Pool area to crowded and noisy. Poor quality yogurt at breakfast (kids supermarket pots full of sugar and additives ) no fresh yogurt , no semi skin milk or plant based alternatives and one restaurant had one domestic toaster for all the people causing massive questions each morning!! 5 stars maybe not🤔 not as relaxing island as the advertising states

A beautiful resort but not the best location.

Pros: Barceló Coconut Island is a beautiful resort. Beautifully situated and stunning with all the greenery and views. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly and the breakfast choices were very good. Having our own pool was a godsend.

Cons: It was extremely busy around the pool areas with guests clearly sneaking out very early to put towels on the loungers. We were so happy that we had our own pool which is where we spent most of our day. We didn’t eat at the resort as it was very expensive (for Thailand) so ate locally every night which was fabulous and authentic. You certainly wouldn’t go to Coconut Island for the beaches as there were lots of jellyfish, rubbish and just basically churned up water from the taxi boat coming and going.

Pros: The hotel is great, we could not ask for anything more. They have all the services you could ask for (reasonable laundry service, activities in the hotel, kids club, spa, etc.) and a great tourist information counter where you can book excursions to your preference. We tested the massage and muay thai, both was done with perfection. The people working here are incredible and were amazing with our two small kids. We definitely recommend this resort.

Wonderful secluded island resort close enough to visit Phuket old town and Elephant Sanctuary

Pros: Received upgrade to a two bed villa with private pool from 1 bed. Really clean was serviced every day including mini bar fridge. Excellent speed boat transfer between Phuket and Coconut Island. Very reliable and safe transfers

Pros: The property is spectacular. The lush greenery makes you entirely forget there are villas and suites everywhere. The rooms are beautiful and well looked after. The restaurants offer amazing choices of food that never disappointed
