Comfortable modern hotel

Pros: Had a nice room on one of the upper floors overlooking the pool. Although we arrived a little early we were checked in and taken to our room pretty quickly. The staff were all very attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel and room is a modern design. Breakfast was an excellent spread with everything from English, European, oriental and Thai.

Cons: The location is reasonably near the main resort but the approach is up quite a steep road, so although possible to walk down to the town and even the beach I would recommend a taxi for the return. The only negative about the room was the extreme lack of storage space, causing us to live out of our cases.

Pros: All the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful , hotel itself was very clean and modern , food and drink reasonable price .

Cons: The hill outside to the main street is a killer especially in the hot afternoon sun

Excellent !!

Pros: Pool area was gorgeous. Decent breakfasts with proper mugs for tea and coffee. Decor of whole hotel was very coordinated. Room size really decent.

Cons: It’s not the property but the steep hill down into town without any pavement was very dangerous.

Some disappointments

Pros: Comfortable beds, rooms and dining. Excellent view

Cons: Hotel is situated on a very steep hill. Walking back from beach, local restaurants and shops very irksome. Lower pool was not cleaned sufficiently, dirt on sunbeds. Top pool did not have enough sun shades for comfort. Although room was comfortable there were not sufficient storage drawers.

Excellent hotel in great location

Pros: Great hotel. Good location. Close to beaches. Food excellent. Wonderful pool with views across bay. We did not find the hill a problem.

Pros: The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, the rooms were spacious and had great amenities. The view from the pool was unreal, swim up bar was great, pool itself was beautiful and the perfect temperature. Breakfast was also really good! The staff were so lovely and helpful

Cons: Food at the pool wasn’t great and our room wasn’t very clean. Mould in shower, sink still had dirt in it from previous guests which could have been cleaned with a wipe. As others have mentioned, the hill up to the hotel is NO JOKE but we knew that before booking so were expecting it. Definitely made us rethinking how many times we needed to go down the hill each day, however it was a great workout after eating too much and made the view all that much more worth it!

We had an incredible time at the resort and would definitely rebook if we come back to Kata Beach.

Pros: Great location, apart from the very steep hill when coming back from the shops. Facilities were incredible. Great pool with pool bar. Pool table and dart board was used frequently. Rooms were incredible with the most comfortable beds. Amazing breakfast and to top it all off the staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend this resort.

A lovely, comfortable stay at Sis Kata.

Pros: Modern, clean, friendly staff. The bed was really comfortable and we had a large outdoor balcony with a great sunset view. The breakfast had a large selection. The check in process was smooth and we were offered a welcome drink on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The pool was great also and had great views of the beach.

Cons: There was very limited storage. We travelled to Thailand for 2.5 weeks so 2 small drawers for clothing was not enough storage. It was situated on a rather steep hill!
