On The Hill Karon Resort

Pros: I have been there 3 times in one month (7 nights in total). Great location, views from the rooms are beautiful. Water in a glass bottle in the room. Very friendly staff, especially Mim. I always looked forward to seeing her.

Great views, restaurant & staff. Rooms shabby though.

Pros: 1. The view from our room of Karon beach, simply amazing. 2. Excellent food and reasonable prices at the restaurant. 3. The Staff x. Lovely staff at the reception and restaurant. 4. The beach at the bottom of the resort stairs with a great restaurant/bar for food and drink. 5. Easy to reach Patong or central Karon via Bolt cab or via tuc tuc. 6 Nice pool, but small and the wooden loungers are falling to pieces.

Cons: 1. The room is shabby, I mean falling apart in decor, fittings and structurally in parts. 2. If you are elderly or have problems with mobility, then the steep stairs down to the beach and restaurant could be problematic. We were ok. 3. Getting the rooms cleaned was a bit hitty/missy. 4. Shower curtain. 5. Noisy air-conditioning. 6. As per No.6 above.

Pros: What a gorgeous place! The staff at the hotel and the restaurant is super nice and helpful. Always smiling! I had two different rooms since I stayed there before and after my trip to Koh Phi Phi. I actually liked the one up top better since it's closer to the restaurant, reception and the views are better. The second one further down was closer to the beach and had a bigger balcony though. But the view from the restaurant is the best and the food is absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay there again!!

Pros: Location was good, food was also good, room was a good size. On the beach you can pay 100.bht for the day for beds also has food drink and a toilet there..nice walk along the beach to town.

Cons: Our room was tired, its only a 3* but still needs work to keep it from being a 2* some things needed repairing in our room.. steps to beach are ok going down coming up is hard if we had been here more then 4 nights I would of found it the worst part of our stay...

Sensational stay

Pros: Beautiful little hill side villas with incredible views of Karon beach. Very friendly staff. Breakfast / restaurant area had one of the best views I’ve ever seen! Nice distance from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to enjoy the activity of Karon.

Cons: Not a big issue but pack comfortable footwear as lots of steps

Pros: I liked the hospitality & service from staff. Very close to the beach.

Cons: Bit hard climbing up & down the stairs to get to the room. Specifically during night time.

Cons: Not a place for people with mobility issues. Very steep, lots of steps.

Pros: Close to beach at quiet end of beach. Very friendly helpful staff.

Perfect location, clean and sweet people.

Pros: Beautiful place that gracefully felt distant to the busy Karon beach. You get the beach without numerous tourists, we had our own pool, and the view is just magnificent. You have to be in good form as there are multiple stairways to get to the villas and to the beach. The staff is super nice and the food is okay. Within walking distance to Karon Village. You can grab a taxi with Grab for 200 bath to Patong. Both me and my 3 kids, 18, 14, and 11 years old loved it 🥰.

We felt like a part of the family, well cared for

Pros: The lady who supervised the property was so helpful. When we arrived my friend was suffering from food poisoning. She went to great lengths to ensure she had everything she needed. Even though we had booked separately She changed our rooms so we were next to each other, so I could keep an eye on her. She was so helpful and accommodating. The location is lovely, on a quiet side of the beach, 10 min walk along the beach to the main shops. The restaurant food is beautiful with a stunning view.
