Angsana Laguna Phuket

It’s been my fifth time staying here and will keep coming back. Shows a lot about the staff and property being top notch

Pros: Location is key factor with having Bang Tao beach right next to you and also have a beautiful small lake. During our stay it was full occupancy (which is the time of year) but you won’t feel it’s over crowded and uncomfortable as the hotels property is huge.

Cons: I think it’s time for a big renovation. I know they had started with a few sections of the property, but it dis need a whole huge renovation plan.

Great resort to visit

Pros: The resort is ideally located and we were able to easily travel to other areas to explore. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The breakfast was great. There is enough variety in terms of restaurants located at the resort.

Cons: The resort pricing is a bit high for drinks, but we could visit The Beach Bar that is located right next to the resort and enjoy better pricing there.

Pros: i felt so welcomed from the very beginning. everyone truly made me feel special and cared for. yudah gave me the best guest experience, he was attentive and always smiling. nann was amazing and her daughter is just adorable, she brightened my days. amber is the best receptionist, comfy, knows my needs, kind and always there when i needed something. the whole team made me feel like family. cleaning ladies and boys were amazing and i give them hugs for cleaning the room perfectly every single day even two times room service good great always amazing, gym pretty okay and quiet, pool girls amazing!

Cons: nothing really stood out as negative, everything went smoothly and i was always looked after. they even changed my room when water was falling from ceiling🥹, fruits in room.

Perfect place to relax and unwind

Pros: This resort has excellent facilities and commands prime position on both the beach and the lagoon. While staying at the Angsana, I visited surrounding resort and found that while the Angsana is older, it has the overall the best combination of features I want: big pool, straddling both the beach and the lagoon, multiple bars and restaurants on site, gym, kayaking equipment and beautiful gardens. Apart from all that, the other outstanding feature is the main building bar, with reflective pool. 10 out of 10 recommended, this resort is suitable whether you are travelling as a couple or whether you are travelling with young children - all will find plenty of activities.

Cons: The property is not within walking distance of town. However the resort runs frequent shuttles (every 10 minutes) as well as a ferry (every 30 minutes). Many local restaurants will also come and pick you up.
