Freedom Kata

Pros: Not only great for value, but also very comfortable. I really appreciated daily cleaning they offered. Staff were very friendly and willing to help for my family 😊

Pros: Staff were very helpful and accommodating when we had to request a late check out and they held our bags for a few hours. Spacious and clean rooms in a good location, a few minutes walk from kata beach and the restaurants. Basic room at an affordable price.

Cons: Air conditioning was not cold enough for the temperature it displayed so it may need upgrading. Room and furniture was a bit dated, but this was not an issue. The room was also on a busy road, so it can get loud sometimes and may need earplugs.

Amazing

Pros: Superb hotel. Great location. Rooms are huge. The best thing is the breakfast. Great variety and all is fresh. The chef comes every morning to check everything.

Cons: Wash stand inside the room. Not much light in the room. could be less dusty.

Great value for money

Pros: Great value for money, quiet location but only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend for sure.

Pros: Very well located, near all amenities and 2 minutes to the beach by scooter. The hotel is very clean and comfortable room with cable Tv and good wifi. The owner is always on location, and always there to help. Thank you Sir 🙏

Great location great hotel and close to the beach and amenities

Pros: Fantastic hotel for value. Comfortable bed, clean, quiet etc. Right next to a nice clean good looking great atmosphere restaurant with all types of Asian, Italian, European food.

Nice location away from the busy Patong area with nice restaurants nearby.

Pros: Nice quiet location with beautiful Kata beach within walking distance.

Cons: Nothing really. Good value for money.

Pros: It was exceptionally clean, the place was quite quiet and the room have very nice wooden local furnitures. The personnell were nice.

Exceptional value, great service

Pros: The hotel is a short 3-4 minute walk away from Kata beach. It is not on the main busy street but tucked away for a nice relaxing stay. For those working remote, the internet is good and fast. There are a lot of family friendly restaurants close by and in house masseuses. The rooms are spacious and clean and the owner is ready to help with whatever you might need. Worth the money and then some.

Easy, affordable, comfortable!

Pros: we loved everything about staying at Freedom Kata! The staff was extremely kind and the room was wonderful. We had a balcony which was a nice bonus! The location is great because you can easily walk to Kata Beach but its just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the beach shops. There are many restaurants around that are less crowded and less expensive than the ones on the main strip. we recommend the place 3 doors down with the pool table for crab fried rice!

Cons: You do have to turn off the air conditioning when you leave which was a bit annoying considering how hot it gets but once you turn it back on, it cools the room up real quick! also our shower was almost never hot or even warm but we got so sunburnt we didnt mind!
