Kata Beach Guesthouse

Pros: The room looked exactly like in the photos and was clean. The furniture was a bit older and worn, but everything was functional. The mattress was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the water pressure was surprisingly good. We received bottled water every day, and the staff were very helpful. They waited for us despite our late arrival at 1 a.m., which we really appreciated. The location is great — about a 7-minute walk to the market and around 15 minutes to the beach. Considering our budget, the accommodation was more than satisfactory. Thank you for a great start to our vacation. 😊

Pros: The property is good value for money considering the location. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Motorbike hire & car available. Laundry service available. Short walk to Night market and anything else.

Pros: Everything in relation right? My room with king sized bed and balcony plus very decent breakfast cost between 17 and 27 UK pounds. It is also on a quiet road so noise and pollution are minimal. This represents excellent value. I had a scooter (which I'd highly recommend) so everything is close by. But the beach is a 15 minute walk and a myriad of eating options are within 5 mins or less. The owner speaks reasonable English. All the workers are a delight.

Pros: Everything perfect! Clean, beautiful spacious rooms, they make your bed and empty the bin every single day, the staff is so kind and helpful all the time, problem solvers with a smile! The location is perfect, no noise in the night but still close to the market and the main beach, just 20 mins walk. I recommend it!

Lovely Christmas holiday in Kata

Pros: Location was great short walk to the main bars & restaurants & 15 minutes easy walk to the beautiful beach. We had breakfast which was very good & the owner was very friendly & helpful & even sorted a safe out for us Thank you

Pros: Spacious room with balcony. Good location, friendly staff and good breakfast. Good value for money. We booked last minute and were happy with the service and facilities in the price range we paid.

Cons: Nothing really to fault. Perhaps a clearer sign for the guesthouse or a note to let guests know to look out for the laundry on arrival.

Pros: Very good value. Quiet location but close to all the action. Friendly helpful staff. Very adequate breakfast. We liked it.

Cons: Nothing to quibble about.
