Thalassa Kata Beach

Great hotel!

Pros: Hotel is in the great quiet location, room was spacious, Essential things provided like cups, set of cutlery, things for washing dishes, toaster. Would recommend 100 % ♥️

Cons: mattress was kinda hard, but Its personal opinion

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay here! We were no where near the pool (it was across the street and down a little alleyway) but that suited us fine as it was much more quiet. Loved the location and joy at reception was amazing

Cons: Bed could have been more comfortable and the toilet leaked but didn’t effect our stay

Clean and nicely presented apartment close to lovely beaches

Pros: The apartment was spacious and well presented, and cleaned every day which was great as we often brought half the beach back with us. Our kids were also unwell and so really appreciated the cleaners providing clean bedding. The beds were comfortable and showers and bathrooms good. The pool was great to have but as per other posts is dated with some broken tiles which caused our son to cut his foot. Also the chlorine seemed too strong and made my teeth and skin feel strange. The location is good, the walk to either Karon or Kata beach is around 15 minutes through roads with shops and restaurants, it just takes a couple of times to memorise the route. I would recommend as a clean and tidy place for a family or couples to stay in.

Cons: The pool needs to be repaired and the chlorine level adjusted. The apartment door could be more substantial but the lock with pin is a good idea. The toaster didn’t work whilst we were there but we usually ate breakfast outside.

Nice bright apartment away from all the hussle 10 minute walk to the beach.

Pros: We liked that it was away from all the hussle and bussle.Only a 10 minute walk to the beach.Pool was lovely.We had the downstairs apartment easy access to the pool nice and bright and spacious.

Cons: We found Kata beach far too busy.Full of Russians.Do yourself a favour go to Kamala or Surin more quiet and much nicer.

In summary we both enjoyed our two weeks at this hotel

Pros: My wife and I stayed at Thalassa Pool Kata Beach hotel for two weeks in a family studio. The room was large and fully equipped to meet our self catering needs. We were accommodated on the ground floor and had direct access to the pool and sun loungers which were used on a daily basis by my wife who loved the experience.

Cons: We had two minor issues: the wash basin sink was partially blocked and slowed the drainage of the water from it and the freezer compartment of the fridge was unable to make any ice which would have been a nice addition to our drinks.

100% would recommend good value for money , rooms cleaned daily , nice & quiet

Pros: Great location close to all amenities gardens kept immaculate & lovely pool

Cons: Couldn’t find reception when we arrived but was clear by sign on back door

Pros: All thing about this property, I Like Location was perfect for the family Clam location, nice atmosphere, nice ambiance Perfect for the family like me, my kind enjoyed the property And the owner of this property is really a good man, every time, I contacted him, he was their to guide me

Pros: Very close to night market and lots of nearby restaurants.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Cleaning staff were excellent, room was always cleaned very well. Its walking distance from diving centre, bars and restaurants, night market, and beach, but tucked away, so it's not noisy, Also laundry close by is a bonus!
