Quiet rural authentic accommodation

Pros: Rustic and rural, away from the hustle of mainland Thailand.

Authentic stay with excellent hospitality

Pros: Traditional style bungalow in quiet area. Excellent restaurant attached (breakfast included). Bikes available for rent to explore the island.

Cute properties in a lovely location

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The stilt houses are cute and it’s lovely to hang out on the balcony. Breakfast was included and was buffet style and tasty.

Cons: Very firm beds and tiny ants in the bathroom. However, we would stay again.

Beautiful Resort with super friendly owner family

Pros: Beautiful Resort with wooden houses, very comfortable and peaceful. Great owner family that go above and beyond to make it a great stay. Food in their restaurant is very tasty. You can also book longboat tours to other islands through them and scooters and bicycles. I recommend booking through them - also taxi back to pier. We had a amazing long boat tour to Hong Islands - made it very special. Also out pre booked taxi to back to pier did not turn up and they were quick in helping us with alternative.

Great Stay

Pros: Great bungalow away from a busy town and close to a really nice beach. The staff were helpful in organising us a taxi and borrowing scooters. Some really yummy restaurants around including the one owned by the people who own the bungalows.

Cons: Not a dislike but if you’re looking to stay somewhere busy don’t pick here as it’s away from the main town of the island. We loved this but know some people wouldn’t.

Pros: The owners are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the rooms nice.

Pros: Beautiful bungalow in the countryside of this lovely island. Was nice to be close to nature with plenty wildlife to be seen in and around this area. Host family of this property were very welcoming and kind. They gave advice on how best to get to the property on the days leading up to our stay and we’re helpful throughout. Bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Although not luxurious, we thoroughly enjoyed and two great nights sleep. Elixir beach just a 10 minute walk away which is very beautiful and well looked after with very little rubbish on the beach. Like most places on the island, you will need to rent a motorbike to visit the main tourist areas which the family at the property arranged for us. Would highly recommend the restaurant on site here. Some of the best food we have had in Thailand. All prepared fresh and prices the best on the island. We went there and to another more known restaurant on the island and the on site one was nicest so highly recommend.
