Great hotel, great value for the money!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at super cool and fun hotel. New, clean, well taken care of. Our room was great, spacious rooms with excess to pool. We loved the quality of the food for breakfast - plenty of variation, and something new each day. Good quality of food, fresh and amazing staff. There is a buggy to the Main Street and also taxi to the beach 3 times per day. The area is great, waking distance to the Main Street with all the restaurants and buzz, but still away for the peace. I would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!

Pros: Very happy with the customer service from Boss Wae and Kang , from the activity services - we had The best time. The pool bar attender Noom was phenomenal, kind and friendly. We loved our interactions with him. Chani Ae Tan welcomed us and greeted us on our arrival , Nan did a wonderful job at stocking and clear out room daily. Our favourite hotel and such kind staff members. We will be back in 12 months for our next holiday. We love Matadee concept hotel - the best!

Cons: Small inconvenience/ not allowed to smoke in balconies. First hotel in Phuket that I have found didn’t allow smoking on your personal balcony.

Need to pay attention to detail !

Pros: Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 6 adults. Stunning hotel and rooms. Pools and lagoons were fabulous. Pool bar very nice food. Prices not too bad for 5 star. Happy hour very good in the afternoon

Cons: Attention to detail could have been a little better….. waiting a long time for requests for the room , water etc. room cleaning very late in the day 4.30 pm. Some of our rooms not cleaned at all and we had to constantly ask for toilet roll. We were there on Christmas Eve and the staff were preparing for a Christmas Eve banquet around the main pool which left us having to go to the other pool but so did all the other guests. We waited over hour and half for sun chairs as that pool became so busy. They should have thought this process through more carefully. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Staff mostly friendly and nice but not as good as other hotel we stayed in Phuket.

Overall Good Stay, we had a great time

Pros: Nice clean property and nice pools, location is good in Kata Beach

Cons: TV is not a smart TV, no YouTube or Netflix

Good price for the quality, but still some minor issues

Pros: Outside areas were really beautiful, good breakfast options, excellent gym and transfers from the lobby to the hotel entry were easy

Cons: Furniture of modern bedrooms is old fashioned, AC is noisy, sports bar always closed, breakfast near the lowest pool had a lot of mosquitoes. Also, we asked for a breakfast box in a day tour instead of going to the breakfast area because of the time we had the departure and it was pretty poor. If bad weather the bigger pool may become muddy. Asked to go for the spa happy hour 15 minutes before the end of the happy hour and were asked the normal price so we went to the spa outside the hotel.

Pros: Very large swimming pool which is amazing and the decor of the hotel is beautiful and clean. The beds/rooms are really lovely and comfy. Food was average for the price of the hotel unfortunately.

Cons: Food was average for the price of the hotel. That was the only thing wrong with it. Plenty of food in the area so it didn’t matter. Didn’t try the rooftop though it looked good

Highly recommend this hotel. Felt as if we were very safe and well looked after.

Pros: Best laid out hotel room I have ever stayed in. So spacious and well designed Fabulously comfortable bed. A/C and WiFi worked well. Great modern gym. Fantastic pool to swim round resort
