Sugar and Spice Inn

Pros: Very kind and helpful staff. The location is perfect for foodies, walking night market's entrance is right in front of the building.

Cons: If noises are bothering you, bear in mind that the place is in the middle of the downtown so it's noisy even during the night.

Cons: There is no elevator, so it's up and down steep stairs. But it's only 3 floors

I had a great time

Pros: You get a large and clean room for a very reasonable price. Anyone expecting a 5-star resort at this price is going to be disappointed. The hotel's own restaurant is highly recommended; it serves fantastic Thai cuisine. You step out the door and you're right in the heart of the action. And I should also mention the very friendly cleaning lady who always greets you with a smile :)

Pros: The room was amazing, we were so shocked when we walked in. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and had great water pressure in the shower. The location was really good, we had the market right across the road which was perfect to have some dinner there every night. It is walking distance to the beach and has good food places nearby.

Pros: The location is great, 5 min walking to Kata beach. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. My room was cleaned every day during my stay. They provide beach towels as well. There are plenty of cafes around and a night street market.

It was a lovely stay, We were out most of the day and came home to a serviced room.

Pros: The room was spacious. Loved the fact that there were beach towels, slippers and gowns.

Cons: It was very noisy due to the proximity to the night market.

Pros: The Sugar and Spice Inn is a perfect selection for a stay at Kata Beach. I stayed here for 1 month during my Bartender Course at the EBS. The staff is very friendly and helpful, when I arrived they carried my luggage up the stairs to my room. You get everyday cleaning, bottles of water every day and if you need anything they're here for you. There was a small balcony and a terrace in front of the entry door with places to sit. The room was quite big, very quiet and with a big and very comfortable bed. You stay directly above the Sugar and Spice Restaurant which serves a really really good food! As well as the partner restaurants Sugar Shack & Sugar Spice. The location is great, directly in opposite of the Kata Night Market & Walking Street and only around 8-10 minutes walking distance to the Kata Beach.

Cons: The shower in the bathroom is completely open without a separation from the rest, even no curtain, so when you take a shower there's water everywhere. It dries fast but in the first moment it's pretty slippery. But this seems to be common in Thailand, I also know this from Greece.

Great staff, great food, great amenities

Pros: There is a safe. 4 water bottles are provided in the mini fridge daily. Multiple towels, bath robe, slippers, and a beach matt are provided. AirCon works well. The restaurant downstairs has a great menu and the food is great.

Cons: Only problem I had is that the bathroom light went out.

The staff here were fantastic, they were very kind and helpful.

Pros: It was very clean and comfortable. The cleaner was lovely and very helpful when we were not feeling our best. The other staff were also very helpful when we lost a valuable item.
