Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort

Expensive food, go outside and eat at local restaurants. Really nice hotel, but not worth the money, and no flexibility

Pros: Beach was great. Hotel staff typical Thai welcoming hospitality. Clean, beautiful grounds.

Cons: You can’t order a Gin & Tonic before 6pm! There are pool / beach drinks menus which are very limited! Couldn’t particularly ‘taste’ any alcohol in any of their cocktails. Very expensive too, but they have a captive market. No real bar area to sit at after dinner to socialise.

Pros: Beach was really nice and relaxing, not overcrowded like other beaches in Krabi. Loved the facilities, new and clean.

We stayed as part of a wedding grpup and the location offered everything with professionalism

Perfect understated luxury

Pros: The breakfast choice and quality was phenomenal. The best breakfast I have had in 40 years of holidays

Pros: Lovely tropical vibe resort with a good walk around the beautiful grounds and a good walk along the beach right at the end of the resort. The pool area is quite nice and surrounder by greenery. Comfortable room and great breakfast. The tours office is super helpful and got us a good deal for a private longtail boat tour.

Cons: The only negative was the very slow service when you order food at the pool bar. We ordered twice and om both occasions it took nearly 1 hour to arrive after ordering.

Great and attentive staff who made feel very welcome

Pros: A big thank you to Fit, Far, Fang, Sea and Sun.. who made a smile every second we were there, they treated all the guests with kindness and humour. The setting and gardens are beautiful with views that are unmatched. Only our opinion.. but the rooms have too much furniture crammed into them, a chaise longe isn’t the best use for such a small space. The Executive Lounge is a must as there aren’t many decent bars in the area. To be honest we found it a little over priced for what was offered.. it’s a decent 4 star but not a 5 star hotel. Anantara at Koh Yao Yai offers far more for a similar price.

Pros: Perfect quiet location, amazing staff and good pool complex

Cons: The rooms were luxury but the garden view wasn’t much of a view from the layout of the rooms. We didn’t use the balcony for this reason
