Absolute perfection

Pros: Everything was exceptional, I could not possibly fault any of the experience at all. From the first moment we stepped in, to the moment we (begrudgingly) left, it was all stunning and incredibly well thought out. The breakfast, gym, beach facilities, room facilities everything was luxurious. And the staff were a delight, calling us by name and always stopping to say hello. Absolute perfection and we will hopefully return as soon as possible.

Cons: It has ruined the hotel we are staying in afterwards since we are consistently comparing to the banyan tree in Krabi!!

Stunning hotel with breathtaking views!

Pros: Stunning views, excellent facilities and great food! Lovely staff - especially Jayda who was so thoughtful and helpful.

Cons: No dressing table and couldn’t plug hair drier in bathroom!

Incredible views, amazing friendly staff

Pros: The staff were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. The view was incredible. We loved our room. It was comfortable, felt private and spacious.

Pros: Everything is above any expectations. From far one of the best places from all over the world. Highly recommend.

Cons: There is nothing to not be liked.

Blissful retreat - A perfect Christmas 🎄

Pros: We arrived at sunset and the view from reception was breathtaking. Very smooth check in, taken to our beautiful pool villas and luggage arrived promptly. The rooms very spacious, spotless and comfortable. I had my young granddaughters with me and their beds were made up with children’s bed linen, they had mini slippers and dressing gowns with a bag of children’s toiletries and rubber toys for the bath. Attention to detail. Service was fantastic. The staff remembered names and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Breakfast buffet was impressive. Good variety / choice of food. Tasty and well presented. Pretty faultless.

Cons: Three of our group suffered d & v after visiting Saffron restaurant. I reported this to the hotel and they extended our room stay as this affected our departure day. We were given salts to rehydrate and offered medical attention if required (not necessary). I only mentioned this as the hotel were very helpful and said this would be reported to the chef and their hygiene department and they would forward me an outcome after investigation. We felt listened to and supported by the team.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The staff were beyond lovely. Every single person was friendly, welcoming and polite. The resort is beautiful. The beach is okay, it’s large enough, but the water didn’t look inviting. The highlight of my stay was the complimentary Muay Thai class with Dee. He was great- very patient and skilled. The food was incredible. Overall, I would consider staying again if the price wasn’t so high.

Cons: We have a room with a private pool and “spa”…which essentially was a cold jacuzzi. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi heated up. The rainy day activities could do with some improvement.

Outstanding stay with an exceptional team!

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly, and we were blown away by the beautiful surprise room upgrade. When my husband was injured (in the sea), the team supported us every step of the way — from first aid, hospital visits to daily check-ins. We truly felt cared for. We loved the resort so much that we extended our stay. Fantastic food and unforgettable sunsets — we hope to return one day!

A dream destination that makes you smile

Pros: Where to even start?! 5 nights at Banyan Tree Krabi was like a dream that kept getting better and we never wanted to end. The hotel grounds and rooms are immaculate - with attention to detail in design, function, and aesthetic. The staff were beyond 5 star, each proudly going above and beyond to get to know you and ensure you experience the best of Krabi, the hotel, and Thailand. A very special shout out to P’Rem, our go-to for guest services, who gave true meaning to “the land of smiles”, always popping up to help us and exuding positivity. P’Sanai from Naga Restaurant is also a huge standout in our experience, by treating us as family with the warmest hospitality and consideration! Our time at Banyan Tree Krabi helped us make life long memories. Thank you to the entire team for making it happen. P.S If you’re contemplating whether to treat yourself - do it at Banyan Tree Krabi! You deserve it.
