Holiday House Kata & Karon Phuket Hotel

Perfect location & great staff

Pros: The location, the staff and that it was clean. Arrived at night when it was pitch black and thought “OMG” but it turned out to be a perfekt place to stay in the area. Brilliant staff! Great location! Ended up staying for 16 days instead of 7 days. (Low budget trip) great value for money

Excellent location, the rest is average

Pros: The location was amazing. Close to both beaches in Karon and Kata, close to restaurants and night market, 7-11 just across the street. The cleanliness was OK. AC was little loud, but worked. The balcony was small and chairs less comfortable, but better than nothing.

Cons: The contact via booking was impossible. This is a big drawback, if you need to arrange anything with them prior to stay. And there is no reception, so no one available at all times. However, they were always friendly when we needed something during day. We had twice problem with flushing the toilet, which required fix from the staff.

Enjoyed this place… close to everything but quiet at night. Staff did all they could to make us welcome

Pros: Located about 10 mins from the beach and 5 mins to the walking market. Room was fine, comfortable bed The two lovely ladies who seemed to do everything, including cleaning

This is a good place to stay

Pros: The hotel location is perfect, there are many restaurants and shops around. It’s about 5-7 min walk to the beach and to the night market. The staff is very nice and helping. Very cozy and nice place

Pros: Great location - plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Beach 5 min walk. Smiley and friendly staff. Good WiFi coverage across accommodation. Towels and soap provided. Heated showers.

Cons: Not a lot to criticise. Shower head not adjustable and fixed at a bad angle, but you can hold in hand so no real issue.

Really enjoyed our stay and the getting to know Rani the manager. Also other guests were quite nice.

Pros: The location is 8 minutes walk to the beach and a pretty small road so relatively easy. It is located on a very small street where local people live. Simple but nice atmosphere. For a two-star hotel the room was very nice and had everything we needed to be comfortable plus a balcony. Rani the manager was very helpful. The rooms was kept very clean. Very easy to walk around Kata from there.

Cons: The lobby area could be improved to look nicer with a little TLC

Pros: Big clean room close to the beach and shops very friendly staff

Pros: I was on the top position since it was the top floor.

Cons: There was no one who I could check with regarding restocking the soap in the bathroom.

Ideal location

Pros: Close to everything you need, not far from beach or big night market

Cons: Facilities have everything you need but are basic - you get what you pay for

Pros: Close to all the local amenities and the beach but far enough away to not be disturbed. Excellent staff, courteous and always eager to answer any queries.

Cons: Air con could have been colder but not really an issue, I like to sleep in a room that's really cold.
