Boomerang Village Resort Kata

A quiet and secluded resort

Pros: Set into the hillside with great views over Kata. Feels secluded and away from the bustle of the town.

Cons: The location was great for us but If you don’t like hills this won’t work for you - steep entry road to the resort. Main road at the bottom v busy so need to be careful crossing it.

Pros: Property is lovely - large room, very clean , great immediate surroundings and excellent staff

Cons: The beaches are crowded

Jungle vibes a short walk from Kata

Pros: Secluded/jungle feel but only 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Kata town.

Cons: The bed was a bit hard (and 2 pillows, one thick one thin, would have been ideal) but this is the typical style here. The hill is quite steep but it was worth it for the seclusion.

Great value budget accomodation with amazing staff and pool.

Pros: Great budget condition in perfect location. Amazing, helpful staff. Clean and comfy rooms. Nice pool with a view. Healthy good value breakfast.

Cons: Nothing. Any tech problems were happily solved by diligent staff.

It’s worth the money

Pros: I like that it was open spaces. I like the fact you had a great view of the pool and the mountains. Thai staff was so attentive and showed initiative to keep me having a really good time at their resort.

Cons: The only negative is the bed is uncomfortable. It’s a massive babe. It has really good pillows but the uncomfortable.

Pros: The property was a lovely oasis in the hills. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Cons: No sunbed cushions for the wooden sunbeds, which made it very uncomfortable to lay on. On asking for one they manage to find for me but other guests were not pleased about this and I felt somewhat uncomfortable at their stares.

Pros: staff very helpful, the environment is great, the pool is great

Cons: the room is a little bit old

Pros: Quiet and out of the way with either large balcony or own bungalow.

Cons: The view is decent, but the hill to the resort is a bit of a climb.

Loved this hotel,only here for 1 night but wish we’d been able to stay longer here

Pros: The staff couldn’t do enough to help,room was clean spacious and beautiful,only 20 minute walk to the beach.

A tranquil gem set in lovely gardens.

Pros: A lovely little resort located at on a hill at the edge of Kata town. Set in lush tropical garden. We rented a bungalow close to the pool for four nights. It was really nice and had fast internet and a smart TV. The pool is clean and serviceable. The resort is great for chilling out. The staff are amazing.

Cons: There are no restaurant facilities except for a limited breakfast choice. To get anywhere you have to use transport or walk. As the resort is on a short but steep hill outside the town, I would not advise this for someone without transport or willingness to use a taxi. We walked everyday but this would be a struggle for a less mobile person.
