Resting Place Ko Yao Yai

Pros: Bhat the owner is a legend, he sorts speedboat/ ferries, motorbike hire et al !! Well worth staying here, cool detached stilt houses

Pros: Nice clean cabins, friendly and helpful staff, pick up from the pier, scooter rental available directly at the property, all in all a very comfortable and pleasant stay!

Pros: Yon is a real nice guy, who always answers when you call and helps every time.

Cons: Nothing was wrong.

Pros: Resting place has very nice detached rooms with lovely views and it is a very quiet place with very friendly helpful staff.

Cons: Not a lot. Morning coffee not very good.

Pros: The host was incredible! You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have an amazing stay and enjoy the island. The view from our room was stunning. Breakfast was simple but delicious. All of the staff went above and beyond for us. Location was close to the pier and some lovely restaurants and beaches. We had an incredible time during our short stay.

Cons: The water pressure and heat wasn't the best but I'm not upset about it. The lock on the door was a bit fiddly.

Pros: The owner was amazing! So welcoming, helpful & friendly! The place was beautiful! The views were stunning! The staff were amazing! You can rent a moped for cheap to get around the island, or a push bike is also available. The food was delicious, lovely breakfast! Highly recommended this place!!

Pros: Yon is a super friendly & helpful host! The location was amazing, the rooms clean and the breakfast delicious. The tours he recommended were great and also the ferry was easy to book with him - leaving no wishes unfulfilled. Thanks again for everything!

Wonderful place to unwind

Pros: I spent three wonderful days in Mr Yohn’s small garden house. The house has been built with great attention to detail, it really has everything you could possibly need and the view is magnificent. Absolutely perfect for unwinding. I received a very warm welcome, and when I had a small problem, Mr Yohn went out of his way to sort everything out for me. The breakfast is sumptuous and plentiful, and very tasty. You can also hire scooters at a reasonable price and reach all the places of interest from there. It takes just under an hour to get to the southernmost tip of the island, which is a lovely trip. Thank you, Mr Yohn. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Pros: Spacious room, nice view and breakfast was ok. They kindly provided pick and drop from pier which was super nice. Location was nearby 7-11 and close to pier and Laem Had beach.

Cons: Cleaning could be better. Some construction and traffic noise which disrupts the peacefulness while sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view.

We should have stayed longer!

Pros: Contacted before our stay to ask if they could pick us up from the pier which they did and waited for us with a sign! The service and room honestly were the best we’ve had in the whole of Thailand, it’s not the cheapest place we stayed but not the most expensive and we’ve been doing it on a budget, my god, the view from the huts is incredible! The huts are all new inside aircon works perfectly, the pictures of this place don’t to it justice! Oh and the free breakfast was lovely too omelette, roti with condensed milk with fruit! Place is bang on
