Whoopers Hostel Ao Nang - By The Beach

Pros: Right by the beach, 7/11 and big night market. Good beds with curtains. Staff friendly with recs and stuff going on at the hostel if want to socialise.

Great place not far from restaurants, 7-Elleven and beach.

Pros: Great bed with shelf for things, hook to hang a bag or clothes and a able to fully close off the bed with the curtain and walls.

Great atmosphere

Pros: - Great atmosphere - Nicely decorated and with a fun concept - Most of the staff was really nice - There’s a fridge, microwave and stove so it’s easy to cook your own food if you want - Clean - They prepare activities and social moments for the guests

Cons: - Small bedroom and the beds are a little bit hard, but still super okay - The showers were always out of either shampoo or shower gel - This didn’t bother me because I actually like to fall asleep with music, but in case it bothers you - they play music until 11pm. But after that, silence is respected

Pros: Great vibe, staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is great, nice and quiet area and very close to the night market.

Cons: Expensive, like all the places in Ao Nang

Pros: Lovely position, amazing staff especially the receptionist , she helped us stray tourists have the time of our lives with different tours, the beds were clean , the showers and the toilets also . Would reccomend .

Pros: - Excellent location for the night market - Walking distance from the beach - Friendly staff - Options of tours - Daily social activities - Great relaxing reception space with music and beanbags - Plug, hooks and little shelf in each bunk which was great! - Clean, hot and powerful showers

Cons: - Some of the rooms don’t lock, which felt a little unsafe - I’d recommend the hostel change to fitted bed sheets as the bottom sheet doesn’t fit properly in the dorms which requires re-making every day. - Large lockers for bigger bags are in the corridor, not the rooms. - Small bathroom beside the dorms have a shower without proper ventilation so the room ends up very hot and slippery and would be better as just a toilet.

Cons: The hostel has two buildings side by side. The building I was in, has only one toilet with a small shower, so often I had to cross to the main building where the main showers and kitchen were. This meant going outside, to the street (!), and in again. Additionally, from what I could see, the toilets and showers are cleaned only once a day, which is far from the need with so many people using them. The \
