Global Beach Hostel - Ao Nang

Good value and fun hostel

Pros: Great location, clean living areas, lots of evening activities put on by staff and really nice staff

Pros: They have a cool place to socialize (Including ps5)

Pros: It was right on the beach. Night markets on the door step. Plenty of nice places to eat.

Pros: Great location, staff were lovely helping us with everything, great social activity’s every day/night, long curtains over bed, very comfy beds aswell as lots of showers and toilets

Pros: I liked that staff were friendly bit of a communication barrier but that’s to be expected when you don’t know much Thai

Cons: Only didn’t like that the location wasn’t too great but if you’re happy island hoping there if a pier close but there’s only a few restaurants and bars maybe like 4 Also it seemed very family I stayed with friends and we had music on in our room not loud at around 9pm and the family next door was not too happy which is understandable but if you know you’re loud or like to be around noise then maybe not the best for you

Pros: Very clean, cleans everything everyday. Lovely staff and volunteers. Lots of social stuff to do. Common area outside. Cheap bar. Not a party hostel though, which is nice. Close to night marked. Free bikes, kayaks and SUP’s to loan.

Cons: Beds wrapped in plastic so it squeaks every time someone moves. Also the rails for the curtains makes a lot of sound. And the showers are outside, so it is crazy hot and a lot of mosquitoes. Hard to dry when you start to sweat immediately after the shower🤣

Pros: good hostel quiet we had problem in the invitation and they helped us.

Cons: the beds are still in the plastic bag - make a little noise ..

Pros: The workers were really friendly, especially Sasi and Aung were so kind. Felt really comfortable!

Best value for money in Ao Nang 👌🏼

Pros: • Beds are solid and super comfy • Outlets, light and a basket are provided in each bunks • Staff is exceptional, especially Ao • Lounge area with bean bags and sitting places outside • Pool table • Kayak and paddleboard can be rented for free • Hair dryer • Many toilets • Very clean

Cons: Only one: although very comfy, the bed comforter is too warm! It's the same one I have back home and I live in cold Canada lol! That's it! Enjoy your stay in Global Beach 🥰
