Oasis Hostel & Bar

Great value, I would definitely recommend it but you get what you pay for

Pros: The Aircon was good and strong. The privacy in the beds was great, with blackout curtains, nothing can peak through into my bed. I licked the small staircase to the above bed, no ladders which is great. Because Karon beach is a more chill area, the people I was sharing the room with were also more chill and not loud - which is also ideal. The common area in the bar was awesome and such a bonus!

Cons: The bathroom didn't have stocked toilet paper for over a day which isn't great for 8+ people sharing a toilet. The bathroom cleaning wasn't done regularly enough as people brought in sand and dirt from the streets and it got dirty fast. The bed was hard but not uncomfortable. There were little gecko poops next to my bed on the side, I don't care that much as I know they are everywhere anyway but it did make me not want to touch the side space too much.

Pros: Gary was very helpful and made us feel comfortable everyday checking up on us. Definitely worth a stay minimum 2 nights would be perfect and then extend; as we did that while we was in Oasis

Pros: All staff are friendly and helpful! You soon realise it’s like a family at oasis, and I felt like I was taken is as one of their own, I’ll be sad to leave tomorrow!

Pros: Great hostel, very close from the beach and beautiful staff

Great budget hostel with cheap drinks for the area at the bar, and free use pool table!

Pros: Gary and the team were very accommodating, with enjoyable pool tournaments 3x per week. The beds had curtains and steps instead of ladders, which made it feel more spacious. There was a water dispenser and kettle too. The hostel was <5 min walk from the nearby beach.

Cons: The lockers were too small to fit my large backpack, but there was room elsewhere.

Clean comfortable hostel in a great location!

Pros: Only had a short stay at the hostel due to last minute plans however the staff and Gary, were so friendly and accommodating. Great hostel very clean rooms comfortable bed, nice facilities within walking distance to the beach, various bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Pros: Overall the hostel is really good! Bedroom and beds so comfy! Very clean and good Air Con I even extended for one more night definitely recommend the hostel 10/10

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like were the showers they weren’t great the power of water very bad

Perfect for travelers

Pros: Location. Attitude. The first time, we were staying in such a comfortable and thoughtfully organised dorm room.

Cons: When the owner was not at his place, other personnel were not so attentive to details,but that's not so crucial

Pros: Apart from the great location, the staff is really friendly. I would highly recommend.
