Pros: So clean and beautiful view of the beach! Staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and are so friendly! They even have us a beach bag as a leaving gift which was so kind!

Pros: The hostel at the Karon Beach and across it is the sea so it's convenient. This place is so alive that you can totally explore by yourself. Basically you can get everything you want here. The bed is comfortable and the owner is caring and the banana is great(lol) I met good roommates here which left me a very good image
Cons: Notice:it's on the street so a little bit noisy for the light sleeper. and the stairs is not so great for the traveller with suitcases.

Pros: Good location. Karon is very busy now, so definitely not a beach holiday, but a perfect base for exploring Phuket with bus stop right outside and a stunning sunset. Ice cold drinking water, wifi, fridge, lockers, utensils and microwave included, and also some snacks/bananas every day. Staff is very nice and respond fast on WhatsApp (but no standard 'staffed desk', just send a msg).
Cons: Sometimes have to step over sickly dogs in the narrow hallway to enter the hostel. They are docile and the locals pet them, so safe enough, but likely uncomfortable for many travellers. They are not with the hostel but sneak in often, and might not be there in the future.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Fishtail hostel. I originally had to change my booking dates because tour dates were rearranged and the host was really accommodating, changing our booking and allowing us to store our luggage at the hotel while we were on our tour. We also had forgotten some items in the fridge and she packaged them up and left them with our luggage for when we returned which we really appreciated. Rooms were clean and spacious, including bathrooms. Check in and check out was really easy and communication with the hotel was really good. We really appreciated the hot and cold water dispensers in the shared kitchen, the free bananas, and the station to wash feet before entering the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Pros: It's a nice chilling hostel, good équipements especially the kitchen you can make yourself coffee, grab banana or salty bars as snack. The only thing I didn't appreciate, it's not that bad but it smells a bit bad, maybe cause it's near the oceans that's normal I guess. Otherwise the view from the room was just amazing.

The best value for money ever
Pros: Third time staying here and extended one more night. Perfect location (sea view) and close to everything you need, clean (they clean Twice a day), the host very welcoming and helpful. Free coffee, free Bananas and definitely free water. Kitchen fully equipped. One exceptional positive point (located exactly on Karon bus point). Couldn’t recommend enough. You just need to communicate on WhatsApp earlier for smooth check-in.

Pros: This is the BEST hostel in Phuket, Thailand!! 🌊🫶 I am a 22yo, solo female traveler from the uk, I booked a few nights here and loved it, rebooked after another hostel in kata that I really disliked. Feeling safe, looked after and being in a shared space full of like minded respectful and fun traveler’s is important to anyone, and this hostel is the place that nurtures that. Thanks so much to the owner who makes you feel completely at ease and at home here. It’s clean, modern and comfortable, has great facilities and the best location in Phuket. If you’re wanting a beach, food and walking filled trip with access to bars, markets and only a 5k walk or 10min Grab from the night life this is the Hostel for YOU! 🤩🤩
