Skipper's Karon

Hospitality top, people top, location top, price is top. Highly recommeded this top place to stay in Karon.

Pros: Large apartment, x2 larger than other 2 apartments we rented later in Kata and Rawai areas. After Skipper’s Karon other 2 places were much worse despite of higher cost. Overall vibe and atmosphere. Owner Matt and his Family are absolutely awesome and warm people. 2 cute dogs. Australian cousin is top. We came late in the evening after check out and got free shower and towels. Thank you Matt for your kindness, and best luck.

Cons: Dogs definitely do require diet

We stayed there with a family and really enjoyed.

Pros: The oasis on Caron beach. Super clean, comfortable, quiet, cozy and feeling like home. The room is spacious and touched to details. There are a big fridge, toaster, microwave, speaker, and even Netflix ( free of charge). There is a good restaurant on the ground floor with home made food. Close to everywhere. Beach is in 5 mins walk. But the brilliants are hosts Matt and Ann. They are friendly, helpful and cool.

Pros: A wonderful hotel with very welcoming hosts – Matt and Anne. The location is fantastic, on a side street, away from the noise of the main road, but still very close to everything. The beach is 5 minutes away, and there are tons of places to eat nearby – restaurants, bars. But I highly recommend trying their steaks – Matt will cook them for you in 5 minutes – it's the best meat I've had in Phuket. They also have two dogs and cats. Chile is now forever in my heart. We'll be back!

Pros: Excellent place, quiet, central, owners super nice. Room is very big, everything clean. The gym inside is a great added value, small but good for any workout.

Pros: Room very spacious and clean. Full sized fridge, microwave and kettle. Warm water from shower. Air con really good. Bed comfortable. 7/11 2 minutes away.

Cons: Having to carry our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs.

Pros: Everything, great place to stay. Cannot wait to go back. Super clean great hosts, squeaky clean - awesome location.

A small oasis

Pros: A small oasis in the center of Karon, very nice and welcoming hosts, a spacious and clean room with a very fast internet connection and quiet air conditioning, if I have the chance, I will definitely come back!

Great stay!

Pros: Well, what can I say? Our stay at Skipper's Karon was simply magnificent. The location is just perfect. You are close to the beach and all the entertainment, restaurants, and shops, but at the same time, the hotel is very quiet and pleasant to sleep in. The room is very clean and spacious. The owners are a wonderful couple who make you feel right at home. We also tried the Australian beef burger, and it was simply delicious. Next time we return to Phuket, we will definitely stay at this guest house.

Pros: Great hosts, really friendly and happy to help. Nice big rooms, had everything we needed and loved the microfibre beach towels! Loved our stay here.

Great place with great location.

Pros: Hosts were very lovely, friendly and easy going. Location is great. The room was big, comfortable and clean. We liked the style and colours of the whole place. We also had great breakfast there.
