Kata Happy Place

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. The caretakers are the best people which really made our stay special. We stayed in the top room which was spacious. Close to kata beach which is super nice. Also surrounded by restaurants, shops and close to gym and 15 minutes walk from yoga. Be aware its in the middle of the night market, so expect its busy and can be noisy.

So much space for the price!

Pros: Room 301 was absolutely huge and I had to double-check with the owner that it was definitely my room because I thought I had walked into someone’s apartment! So so much space for the price! Room also came with 2 air conditioners, 2 TVs, 2 Dining tables and a stairs to the massive private rooftop area.

Pros: Room 301 was clean, comfortable, and large - the entire top floor plus the roof of the building, which was a nice surprise. The location of the property was also excellent. The Kata Night Plaza was outside of reception, and Kata Beach was a short 5 minute walk away.

Pros: Great hospitality, very friendly, totally recommend. Note, it is just a room but super close to the beach and amenities. Predominantly in a Russian area but we didn’t mind at all!

Pros: I loved the place, the location was perfect, staff extremely helpful with big heart of welcome hospitality, I felt like being at home. Thank you for making my trip so enjoyable.

the best host

Pros: It's located right inside of the night market, so makes it super easy to try lots of different good food and fresh fruit. Despite of the market, the room I stayed in was quiet inside throughout the night. It's also within a walkable distance from Kata beach. The place also can help with bike rental at affordable price. The host is the absolute best! He goes above and beyond to make sure you have the most comfortable stay, and will give advice if you have questions on activities on the island.

Cons: WiFi is a bit unstable, you need to find a good spot for better signal, however it was still enough for me to work from the room when I had to.

Kata Happy Place made a smile on my face

Pros: Location is excellent, in the middle of everything, just nearby night market and everything you need is there, so much restaurants and stores. Room is spacious and light. Kata beach is 10 minutes walk, and Karon beach is 15 minutes light walk.The owner of hotel is very kind and helpful who will give you good advices where to go and how to get there.

Cons: Loudly night market, but it finishes till 11 p. m so after that is possible to sleep good.

perfect everything

Pros: The owner is soo friendly, he gave me lots of advice for traveling in Phuket. Really love the room, especially the wooden ceiling and the balcony. Perfect area just right inside the night market, but very clean, almost in the between of karon and kata, convenient to visit any of them. Definitely would come here again!

Pros: Owner is a top bloke and let me stay one hour later than checkout for free. Friendly staff. Perfect location next to walking street. Room had everything you needed and a big balcony. Great value for money and enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Large room, patio, right by a night market and the beach, amazing location.

Cons: WiFi wasn’t the best but still worked
