Phi Phi Sunset Bay Resort

Secluded feel.

Pros: Secluded feeling was nice. Boat staff/resort staff very helpful and kind. Walk to town was interesting.

Cons: Could do with some updating. Rubbish around property Could do with cleaning up.

Amazing and unique house

Pros: Absolutely unique house. Kind of in the middle of the jungle. They have a taxi boat that will take you to the resort if the weather is good which was a great experience. Housing has beautiful views from the balcony, comfortable big bed and cute little bathroom with outside shower. The walk to the town takes 20-30mins. There are monkeys everywhere, so you need to keep your door closed at all the times because they are thieves. Someone could mind that there is no A/C only fans in the house but we didn’t.

Cons: 20 minute trek to the main bit which if your looking to go out in the clubs it’s abit out of the way ,no air con but 2 fans worked well

Good vibe, liked to live there

Pros: The bungallow and the area has a really good vibe. There are monkeys, sneaks and geckos around

Cons: While we were not at home, the cleaning crew let in some monkey inside the room and the monkeys unpacked our luggge and bite some stuffs

Pros: We love the location because it was out of the main section and all of the crazy beach party noise. There are regular boats into the main section of town but if you miss them, it’s only a short walk which is quite nice anyway. The staff were exceptionally lovely and went above and beyond to return my phone to me when I accidentally left it in the bungalow, they sent a boat with my phone in it over to the main section of town before I caught our boat out of Phi Phi! There are also monkeys that you can see at the accommodation. They are a little bit bold but very cute.

Lovely authentic bungalow stay

Pros: Beautiful spot right on the water and away from the business of the main town, very authentic and rustic bungalow with lovely views. The staff were very accomodating and the attached restaurant area is very relaxed and a lovely spot to sit.

Cons: The path to the main town was very muddy and slippery (it rained when we stayed) which is something to keep in mind, be prepared to get your feet wet to get to the property as you will have to walk into the water to get into the boat they provide. The bed was quite firm and the bungalow is very minimalistic so bugs and insects will get inside but there is a mosquito net.

Good location with nice views

Pros: Free transfers to and from the resort to the beach area. Walking is not so bad, we like to walk and always walked the trail. Our bungalow was very clean and with a very nice view to the sea. Room was big enough but shower is outside, for us there was no problem with that. 2 fans, 1 mini fridge and a balcony facing the sea. Staff was very nice too. Only \
