Chalong Chalet Resort

A comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, a quiet atmosphere and a cozy feel.

Pros: Wonderful, spacious room. The grounds are quiet, green and picturesque, a lovely place to relax and spend time. The location is convenient, especially if you’re traveling by car, motorbike or taxi. It’s not always comfortable to get around on foot. Closer to the Chalong Roundabout Clock Tower there are massage salons and restaurants and Kata Beach is just a short drive away. We also booked the stay with breakfast included: there is a selection to choose from but most of the dishes are Thai cuisine.

Cons: As for the downsides, the bed was king size but the mattress consisted of two separate parts, so you could feel the join in the middle and they tended to slide apart slightly.

Really enjoyed it and sad that underinvestment is undermining its full potential as a great resort

Pros: So much potential. Stunning gardens. Lots of space. Good pools.

Cons: Getting tired in the villa. Sofa was looking we’ll warn. Just one sub bed that was tired. Shortage of cutlery/plates/one pan. Not a functional kitchenette

A relaxing resort stay with fantastic pools, delicious food, and excellent facilities.

Pros: Loved the excellent facilities with the diverse range of pools. The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

It was a really lovely stay and the surroundings were very peaceful

Pros: It’s a very peaceful location. Great for a getaway. Pools were nice, didn’t realise they had a gym but found it on the second day and they also have Muay Thai downstairs that you can join classes and it’s next to a rock climbing gym. Bed was very comfortable and WiFi was very stable.

Cons: The location was a bit far from everything which we were expecting but it was very hard to get a grab or bolt sometimes waiting up to an hour… maybe they should add a shuttle service to Chalong/Rawai a few times a day. The road it’s located on you can walk to Chalong but can be quite unsafe. As lovely as the property is it does need quite a bit of TLC. The service at the pool bar could be improved. The restaurant menu could have some more options.

Pros: The staff amazing so nice people just everyone. If have bike so easy to ride down the beach and to busy tourist area

Absolutely stunning stay!

Pros: A truly beautiful hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. The room was very clean and comfortable, and you can tell they take great care of the property. Everything looked exactly like the photos, if not better. Highly recommended!

Cons: The only downside was the shower. The water temperature kept changing between hot and cold on its own, which was quite frustrating

Paradise

Pros: This place was absolutely beautiful, the room was perfect and very clean. Staff were so kind they organised taxis for us and went above and beyond to help us. Amazing experience and very good value.

Cons: It is a little far from everything, but it’s very easy to get taxis and would by ideal if you have a scooter.

Interesting place

Pros: Beautiful surrounding jungle park. Pool was a nice experience

Cons: Resstsurant opening hours : -after eight everything was closed. Unkind people at the pool without staff.
