Poonsiri Resort Aonang-SHA Extra Plus

Pros: Beautiful resort, truly stunning. Staff were incredibly helpful, kind and could assist on lots of different matters. Pool was clean and has shade for a good part of the day, very spacious area. Room was nice, comfortable beds. We would come back again and wouldn't choose anywhere else in Ao Nang/Krabi.

Cons: Aircon was a little weak and needed fan and a long time to cool the room. Location meant that grabs were always needed unless using shuttle - which was good but a bit too infrequent and stopped after 7/7:30pm, and went to landmark beach not the main aonang beach. It would been good if the hotel has a small shop area for snacks/drinks aside from bar as no nearby convenience store.

Pros: Peaceful and full of monkeys! Beautiful lake and wildlife

Excellent , comfortable , accomodation in tranquil setting

Pros: Quiet, peaceful setting , even though it’s only 10 mins by hotel shuttle to busy Ao Nang beach and market / nightlife area . Very comfortable bungalow overlooking the lake which is full of fish ( which you can feed for 20 baht) with swallows flying overhead most of the day . Great views of the mountains , river / mangrove forest and elephants at the sanctuary next door . Added bonus of watching the antics of the monkeys who come in early morning and evening. Couple of resident cats who seem well cared for which was good to see . Excellent breakfast (huge choice of options , western and asian) and dinner and efficient , faultless service by housekeeping , restaurant and reception / concierge staff .

Pros: It was like a small paradise. Fish swimming infront of your pourch. Small monkeys wondering around. Beautiful scenery. Like a paradise.

Pros: We loved our stay at Poonsiri. It is such a beautiful resort. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. We can’t wait to return next year.

Cons: It was lovely to have a fitness centre/gym, but found it difficult to work out in there as there is no aircon which made it unbearable.

Pros: Very nice hotel, with clean rooms, beuatiful location, helpful staff and a nice pool area.

Cons: The bungalows with two rooms in it are not very well sound isolated. The rastaurant included in the hotel is not the best.

Pros: Everything about the stay was amazing coins t recommend it more such a beautiful setting lovely room beautiful polite staff , transferred to room on golf buddy with luggage an Amazing experience , would definitely stay again excellent location friendly staff , the monkeys are an amazing experience itself aswell as all the lovely fish you can see in the lagoon overlooking the balcony and beautiful tree top canopy and stunning cliffs

Lovely remote hotel, staff great but needs a little Tlc x I would stay here again though.

Pros: Our room was lovely with a small private pool, which was great as the main pool was sometimes full with no sun beds,but that didn’t bother us as we had our one to relax in. It was quiet away from the crowds. Lovely countryside and elephant sanctuary next door. Breakfast was great and restaurant looked good too.

Cons: Only one medium sized pool, lack of beds and lots of sun umbrellas were broken so not enough shade. Some areas were a little bit run down. But it wouldn’t take a lot to put it right.

Fantastic, beautiful and scenic.

Pros: Absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond with everything. The pool was the nicest pool I’ve swam in. I have fallen in love with the place. Nothing bad to say at all. Will definitely be returning next year and for longer! By far the nicest resort I’ve stayed at.

Cons: The only thing I’d recommend is just a couple of extra pillows on the beds as we found 1 is not enough. Very minor.
