Aqua Resort Phuket - Near Beach and Chalong Pier

Fantastic hotel.

Pros: The room was lovely and big, nice views and cleaned every day. The pool area, although small, was fantastic. Not a lot of sun loungers but for the size of the pool, just about right and wasn't overly busy anyway. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons: Nothing. Other reviews mention it being a bit out of the way, but it's only a short walk to a stretch of beach which isn't the best for sunbathing or playing on for children, but lovely for walks. Main road through Rawai only a short walk away, for convenience stores, etc, and for most of Rawai, you probably need transport or taxis to get about, which are very cheap. I didn't use the hotel restaurant so can't comment.

Great hotel situated in a nice and quiet area.

Pros: Great location, good quality-price, it was clean and quiet and the stuff very nice. The rooms are huge and spacious, also big bathroom and balcony. I'll totally recommand it.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Great stay at affordable and nice hotel

Pros: Super nice hotel with lovely and helpful staff. It is a bit from the touristy parts but that was kinda nice and you could easy get a grab, taxi or go places with a scooter if you rent one.

Cons: Liked everything with this hotel.

Lovely hotel with great views. Location not ideal if you’re looking for multiple bars & restaurants

Pros: Stunning views across the bay and our hotel room had a nice wraparound balcony. Great pool and nice gym. Enjoyed the open air reception area.

Cons: Location just off the main road didn’t offer much in the way of restaurants or bars. Sadly the beach had some litter that had been washed up or dropped that doesn’t appear to be kept tidy by anybody.

Amazing stay with beautiful pool view

Pros: The hotel itself was amazing, everything was very clean, well organised, the stuff was super helpful and I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Cons: The only issue that I’ve had was the location, since everything is very far in Phuket it took me some time to arrive to the activities that were interesting for me.

Pros: Big and clean rooms, but hotel is far from the beach, where you can go swimming to, need to take a cab.Very nice reception staff, very helpful and kind! Always ready to help and assist with anything needed!

Cons: the beach next to the hotel was not for people to swim in, for boats only, which meant we had to take a taxi daily to the nearest beach. This added to our expense, as I specifically booked the hotel as it was located next to the beach. It would be good if it was noted that the beach can not be used.
