Pros: I was truly impressed by the friendly and attentive welcome from the hotel staff. The check-in was quick and effortless, making the whole arrival experience feel easy and well organized. It was a wonderful start to my stay. This vintage hotel is a true feast for the eyes for anyone who appreciates the charm of the golden old days. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to refresh myself with chrysanthemum tea, which was freely available in the hotel lobby — a lovely and thoughtful touch.

Pros: Great atmospheric hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff. Location in the centre of old town, needing transport for excursions or beaches

Cons: Breakfast isn't included and limited facilities in hotel, but plenty of options nearby. The hotel offers complimentary drinks and biscuits and 10% off cafe prices.

Lovely hotel in a great location!

Pros: Beautiful quaint hotel definitely worth staying at. We were just staying for the night but wish we had stayed longer. It’s in a very good location close to shops, restaurants and bars. Took a picture outside the room where Leonardo DiCaprio stayed.

Cons: The only thing was our room was on ground floor so we couldn’t really keep the curtains open.

Pros: The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of room cleanliness and room size. It surpass five star hotels in Malaysia. The location is right at smack of weekend market. I will totally stay here again. The hotel staff left hand written memos, and they provided complementary coke and sugar cane beverage apart from usual mineral water.

Cons: As I am a light sleeper,I could hear sounds. But I expected it because this is in an older building.

Timeless elegance, staffed by wonderful people

Pros: The hotel was lovely and in a great central location. The staff were just wonderful and made a great effort to make my husband’s birthday special. This was our second stay and we loved it.
