The Malika Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

Local spot handy to the tourist action.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of cheap local eats nearby and an air conditioned café, Asterisk Espresso, about a five minute walk away. The hotel also has bikes available for guest use. A few had flat tyres during our stay and there was no pump, but two were brand new and an easy way into Old Phuket Town for a meal and a wander through the shops. The pool area is very clean and inviting, and the downstairs rooms with direct pool access are spacious and super clean. If your budget extends to a pool access room, ask for Room 107. It sits at the end of the building with a couple of sun loungers in a semi private spot. It also means you can open your room straight onto the pool area without swimmers passing directly in front of your room. Overall, recommend.

A little oasis with a lovely pool and the most comfortable beds.

Pros: We stayed one night in a villa which was incredible with its own pool. Second night was in a pool room which was a bit tired but very good value. Both had fantastic comfy beds. 20 minutes to the old town and mangrove walkway.

Cons: Building work going on next door.

Pros: We were very satisfied with the hotel. Everything was at a high standard – the rooms were clean, the location was excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. We also appreciated the services and facilities the hotel offered, which made our stay truly enjoyable. We gladly recommend this hotel to families with children as well – everyone can find something for themselves here. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and would be happy to return in the future.

Great staff - peacefull location

Pros: Nice location near old town Phuket, about 15 min walk away from the center so it was nice and quiet. Bed was very comfy.

Cons: The air conditioning wasn’t great, the room was very hot.

Pros: Clean room, access to the pool was nice. Internet/wifi worked really well. Relax and chill place. 7-eleven was close by.

Cons: Location is ok - you need to walk a bit when you want to get to shops & restaurants.
