Wyndham Grand Nai Harn Beach Phuket

A pretty much fabulous place

Pros: A big and clean room. Friendly stuff. Interesting design of the pools and the buildings. Have an okayish gym and a few restaurants.

Cons: The hotel restaurants food is pretty mediocre tbh, we had to use taxi to go to some other places for breakfast/lunch

Our holiday would not have been what it was had we stayed somewhere else

Pros: Wyndham Grand Nai Harn Beach Phuket is a modern, well-maintained resort in a peaceful location close to Nai Harn Beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly and attentive. A great choice for a relaxing stay in Phuket.

The staff were really excellent, however I would choose another hotel if I go again.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive and friendly

Cons: The layout of the hotel is best described as awkward as you have to walk some way from the main lobby to the breakfast area and restaurants, or take the electric buggy. There are a lack of hand rails on some stairways. May steps to the open entrance lobby and check in. Some features were poorly designed from an architectural point of view. The room had a damp smaell, this may be due to the humidity but there were signs of damp in the Hotel. Ground floor pool rooms, can be noisy from motor scooters and voices outside on the roadway surrounding the property.

Pros: The staff is friendly and the hotel is modern with great facilities. We appreciated our comfortable room and a variety of pools.

Cons: The hotel is about 2 km from the beach. They offer a shuttle service which is very minimal in the afternoon (once in 2 hrs in the high season) and makes it difficult to use it. Guests have to walk with their small children on a noisy hot street with no sidewalk, which is unsafe. The beach has little shade and umbrellas are scarce in the high season. I was disappointed with hotel's location since I expected better beach access in a 5-star hotel. But maybe that's difficult to get in Phuket. Next time, I will look for a place with quiet and shorter beach access. The meals in the hotel restaurant were nothing special. The pools have a rough surface. My daughter and I scratched our knees. I find it an odd choice. The hotel feels a bit like a concrete jungle. It doesn't have much of a local feel. I would recommend incorporating more local elements, not having plants planted in concrete planters.

It is a good hotel to stay and enjoy Nai Harn

Pros: Stuff is super friendly, facilities are great, in overall it was very good.

Cons: Sometimes due to some guests it was quite loud during the night - especially the ones who were swimming and laughing loud.

Pros: Super spacious and comfortable rooms, great service, a pool bar and a huge pool area.

A lovely slice of heaven

Pros: Everything, the facilities, the staff, the food, the drink, the room. It was phenomenal

Cons: Nothing. The entire stay was incredible. We were fleeing a bad hotel and the Wyndham felt like a luxurious sanctuary for which we were so grateful!

Pros: The room was beautiful, very luxurious, and extremely comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Cons: It was difficult to get taxis to travel anywhere, and the service was quite slow at times.
