Centara Karon Resort Phuket

Pros: Central position for everything choice of pools, good assortment at breakfast, plenty of bars for cool drinks

Cons: There should be handrails on all stairs, the main entrance steps have no handrails at all, this is very important and would would not meet UK, and most other European Health and Safety requirements, I saw an elderly gentleman fall on the outside steps he had nothing to hold as he cli bed the steps. Rooms could have more Shelves/drawers, and more clothes hanging/Wardrobes.

Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them ,all the staff were amazing, we were upgraded to a villa and it was amazing , I was made to feel so welcome, and the choice of food was fantastic, an amazing holiday 😀

Pros: Great location for walking to restaurants, markets, etc. Beautiful clean rooms. Beautiful pool areas. Amazing kids pool area, mostly suited to pre-teens.

Wonderful relaxing holiday with adult children. Highly recommend.

Pros: We were upgraded to a villa on arrival which exceeded all our expectations. Buffet breakfast had plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and facilities were exceptional. Great location, close to beach and restaurants and bars.

excellent family Centre hotel near Caron Beach

Pros: excellent kids club and great activities for the children. Fantastic breakfast, with a very wide range of food options.

Cons: we had very little space for packing our clothes. There was also too few towel racks and no mirror in the bedroom.

Pros: It was so friendly. The staff could not be more helpful.

Cons: The single Christmas playlet that played over and over and over. Being made to wait while the room was checked on checkout made me feel.like a suspect in a crime. They vould have said take a seat while we prepare your bill rather than please take a seat while we check your room.

Perfect hotel with lots around it to see and visit.

Pros: Fantastic modern hotel with 3 great pools to choose from. Good food and drink served at the hotel and staff were fantastic and helpful from the moment we arrived taking our cases to check out. Room really nice and cleaned daily. Visited over Christmas and staff made a lot of effort and hotel was decorated nicely despite not been a Thai tradition.

Great stay and would definitely stay again

Pros: Good pools, good location. Nice breakfast and variety. Room was really nice and it was super clean. Separate shower / toilet / sink was also a bonus. Staff very friendly.

Cons: There were 3 pools but it would have been nice to have an adult only pool. The pool we thought was the more relaxing pool had several loud kids and quite loud music with aqua aerobics.

Excellent for kids!

Pros: My kids loved the kids pool with slides and the kids club. The breakfast was a good variety and good quality. Location was handy to walk to the beach and lots of restraurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, massage places and money exchanges near by! Staff were friendly.

Cons: I worry about the state of the kids pool in a year or two - there some big bubles in the flooring of the splash zone area and my foot kept going through the deck-o-drain near the pool. Check-in could take a little extra care to make sure they provide the correct room type.

Great option for a short stay to be close to Karon

Pros: Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of options for pools & loungers. Rooms were newly renovated and very clean and comfortable.

Cons: Whilst the rooms were lovely and spacious, there is nowhere to unpack other than 5/6 hangers meaning you live out of a suitcase. Not a huge issue with being there only a week but it would have been very helpful for some shelves etc. we ended up using the sofa in the room as a wardrobe. Breakfast is carnage - kids running around all over. Would have been nice to have some more healthy options such as avocado/smoked salmon etc. the ocean view rooms do also overlook local bars which we didn’t really think an issue but WOW it is so loud, music going on until 3am every night. We did ask for ear buds but they didn’t seem to have any.
