Pros: Amazing staff good location. Nice beach walking distance from resort . Nice pools and great food

Pros: Room service lady was amazing so too were the staff at the roof top bar. The pool on the roof was great. Rooms were clean.

Cons: The option for a late checkout was not available even though I was advised that the room was not booked earlier that day and I was asked to pay a full extra night to stay a few hours even after I spent 9 nights there. most of the front desk staff I found to be not as friendly as the rest of the staff in the hotel. The pools were very shallow for my liking but that is just nitpicking. In my opinion, the nightly cost for this hotel is way overpriced for what it is as there a far better options in this price point.

Pros: Very clean staff can’t do enough for you great food and drinks also reasonably priced beautiful roof top pool very peaceful also good for kids

Pros: Fantastic hotel,great staff and service, rooms were cleaned everyday, great location very central 5 minute walk to Kamala beach and all resturants, activities on the beach. Kids loved the hotel and activities. We will stay here again.

Was and okay stay.

Pros: Our stay at The Marin was good overall. We really enjoyed the pool, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, we did have to follow up on a few things during our stay, and the room was not cleaned properly, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these issues, we appreciated the atmosphere and amenities.

Cons: Room cleaning, people not respecting our reserved spot infront of the room

Nice hotel but unfortunate circumstances

Pros: Rooms were very clean, beds really comfortable and modern. Staff were really nice, polite and accommodating. Very good value for money give quality of room.

Cons: Breakfast was an interesting selection- Not one where you could create a regular meal. Hotels problems are related to those created by guests. First room smelt like smoke from the previous guest, although the room smelt like it had been throughly cleaned with cleaning products and was immaculate, i could still smell the smoke. We moved rooms immediately and staff were nice about it. Not their fault really given they are really clear about no smoking. Second room i suspect had bed bugs. Again I searched entire room but couldn't find proof of an actual bug but I'm sure i was bitten in bed both nights by something crawling into the bed, so didn't sleep a wink and we moved rooms again. I noticed the mattress was immaculate but sheet had rust coloured dots v both nights even with sheet changes. Staff were accommodating and concerned, i don't blame them as clearly a guest has brought them in. Third room was fine, no smell or bites. Had best night's sleep. Not sure about the clientele given previous occupants and breakkfast time - A lot of intrusive starring and gawping by some tourists from a certain nation here, like they've never seen people who are not white even though they are in thailand. Received a small cookie to share on leaving, to share between two toddlers and 2 adults- better to make 4 mini cookies.
