MW Krabi Beach Resort - Ao Nang - SHA Extra Plus

The hotel looks like it was built for royalty back in the day. Bursting with character - shabby chic

Pros: MW Beach resort is an extraordinary looking building. It is a little run down in some respects but bursting with character.

Cons: We could have down with a few hooks in the bathroom and the lighting control system was very confusing.

Good hotel, but very old.

Pros: The swimming pool, though there were not enough sunbeds and they were very old. The garden is very nice, the building is authentic even though it is old. Good location.

Cons: There is significant long-term wear and tear, and uncleanliness that is not properly cleaned.

Peaceful and relaxing place to stay by the sea

Pros: Loved the location. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and the sea could be viewed from the reception. Very peaceful and relaxing, away the town. Friendly staff. Spacious, clean, nicely arranged room with a balcony. Exceeded expectations. Excellent value for money.

Historic Palace

Pros: I got 2 free bottles of water each day! Looks palacial

Cons: So big that its a bit of a walk from lobby to room. Shower head was a calcified and water just dribbled out, but still managed to get hot.

Very good value for money

Pros: Nice room and hotel in general except minor things, more than ok for the price

Cons: Sometimes slow wifi, bed was uncomfortable, location is not ideal but it is ok

Pros: The hotel rooms are lovely, much bigger than I’d expected and very clean, and the staff are wonderful, so friendly and they always say hello. The pools are also gorgeous, again much bigger than I’d expected and the whole hotel itself is so pretty, the photos don’t do it justice.

Cons: It is a little far from Ao Nang beach, maybe 25-30 minutes by foot, however there is a beach just opposite the hotel as you leave which is much quieter and, in my opinion, much nicer!

3 nights, highly recommended, big nice room with balconi, perfect toilet, great swimming pools, good staff
