Jungceylon Villa - quiet location

The question I want reviewers to answer is \

Pros: AWESOME - we arrived at night and awoke the next day to discover a hidden paradise. A 10 - 15 minute walk to Bangla Road (or short Tuk Tuk ride), lovely pool, clean (big) rooms, good kitchen, pots, pans, etc. and a pool table which the kids loved. We used the charcoal BBQ and did home cooked steaks for the kids which they loved (also great because much cheaper than in local restaurants). There was a TV but we didn't even turn it on. The property has a gate that we could lock when we wanted so we felt secure and safe. The host was very helpful and available via WhatsApp. The maid was delightful, quietly doing her job and being mindful of our needs and desire to relax.

Cons: I'm trying to thing of something and the only things that we didn't like during our holiday have nothing to do with the accommodation. Nope - nothing!

Great property for a group on a budget

Pros: Very large and reasonably equipped, owner was always available when needed

Cons: Accommodation is basic and the pool was bit dirty when we arrived, very much overlooked by surrounding hotels …..that’s about it The walk out to the main road was a bit of a killer, would recommend downloading the GRAB app for taxis

Pros: Nice place to be in patong, the villa was great, the bed perfect and the owner is really kind .
