SAMSAM Yao Noi - ANDAMAN MAGIC & ART VILLAS

Pros: Samsam was amazing, the gardens of the hotel were beautiful, we got to see the hornbills almost every day. The pool was also great, and we ended up having it only to ourselves a few times. Delicious breakfast, the egg bar was a nice touch. The meals we had at the hotel were also nice. Pretty close to the beach and to some restaurants, by walking 20 minutes you have quite a lot of options. I especially enjoyed dinner at Stella 2 and the cocktails at Mohito bar. Amazing sunsets and sunrises you can see by walking max 15 minutes from the hotel. Staff were great, helpful and attentive while also giving you privacy. I also enjoyed the boat trip they arranged for us, and the complimentary pick up and drop off from the port.

Cons: Maybe one thing that could be improved is that in the downstairs studios the air conditioning is directly over the bed, and it can be a little inconvenient.

Little piece of paradise

Pros: Got to mention the exceptional staff who always had a smile on their faces. We loved everything, the peace, stunning rooms, gorgeous pool which we often had to ourselves. Used the free bikes and had a massage in our room. Courtesy drive to sunset bar as well. Joined by hornbills for breakfast. Short walk to Leks restaurant for amazing food.

Amazing relaxing stay!

Pros: The breakfast, the service by the pool, all the food! the rooms, the staff were so kind and helpful! I loved this place! They picked us up form the port, they re arranged our booking when my partner was to sick to come, they made sure we had food prepared that wouldn't make my partner sick again! They were so kind and helpful!

Cons: Nothing!

A stay that will live with me for the rest of my life.

Pros: Everything was to like: beautiful room, impeccable service and kindness from the staff, effective communication with staff, tasty food and drinks. Perfect location too.

Pros: Incredible rooms, excellent staff, love the bicycles provided to get around the island, loved the breakfast, loved the views. We were picked up from the pier when we arrived and dropped off when we left. We went during low season and were the only guests there. More expensive than other options on the island (but much cheaper than some!) definitely get what you pay for here!!

Great hotel with stunning views - sadly the service and overcharge left much to be desired.

Pros: An amazing location and room, the view and the private pool are perfect..sadly if you are coming with kids the sofa bed that is noted on the size is actually a beanbag .. so this might be a slight issue.

Cons: We had a very unpleasant experince with the hotel... The staff's communication and level of english was quite difficult to navigate - with a very late flight and a young son we spoke to the hotel couple of days prior to book a transit back home - we were advised by the hotel and booked the return journey on the boat that the hotel confirmed was 1500 TB, which was a private transfer at 6pm ( which is outside of the standard boats as last one leaves the island at 4.30pm) as we had a late evening flight. The hotel upon checkout give us a n invoice for 4500 TB ( 3 times the price, when standard cost is far less ) - we had no way to leave the island and upon speaking to staff who's english was not able to assist us, we spoke to the manager with whom we confirmed the price 2 times to triple check said the cost is correct and it was per person vs in total.. which would leave us stuck on the island with no way to take our return flights. We ended with a price drop to 3500 as we had no other option, but tin addition to adding a taxi from the boat to airport ( which is 300 on uber / bolt ) they tried to charge us 1 230 for the same service. This felt extremely disappointing and fully felt we were misguided and tried to take advantage of. Had a lovely stay, however this has really placed a bad taste for us leaving the hotel.

A gem on this beautiful island

Pros: Amazing Villas, beautiful place, quiet and lovely, staff are amazing and welcoming and trying to help with everything we asked for. The food was great and pool was great in our villa. Beautiful art all around.

Cons: The main area of the house as no air conditioning, makes it unusable most of the day.

Pros: The most amazing place. Tranquil and luxurious. Nice places to eat nearby and near the beach. Thoroughly recommended for a quiet relaxation.
