Koyao Bay Pavilions - Beach Resort and Pool Villas

Highly recommended and we’ll certainly return

Pros: This truly is a barefoot paradise destination. The location is on one of the best beaches, the thought given to the accommodation and facilities is excellent and the team are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too difficult for them, from arranging taxis, tours and giving recommendations for dinner, etc. Ryan, George, Bea and Asma deserve special mention but the entire team went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay the absolute delight that it was. We had breakfast every day which was wonderful and had two dinners during our stay - the food was exceptional and amongst the best we had in Thailand.

Cons: No comes to mind

What a dream

Pros: We had the Villa Kirana with own pool, it felt like we had two villas as each room was in a separate building. 2 minutes walk to the beach. Great hosts, Ryan and his team were just outstanding and had a solution to every query. It was all just perfect, the restaurant and its outstanding food, the cleaning team, the office team and of course the location. Quiet, away from the mass tourism.

Do yourself a favour and stay here... you will not regret it!

Pros: This place is an absolute paradise, and I can honestly and truly say that in all the years we have been travelling, Ryan is the host with the most. Ages before we travelled, he connected with us and communicated constantly. He was there waiting for our arrival, and he and his staff are absolutely brilliant. There was nothing you could not ask of Ryan, and he delivered consistently, efficiently and wonderfully. I cannot rate him and this beautiful place to stay highly enough.

Cons: Absolutely nothing we can complain about. Everything was fantastic.

Pros: Absolute heaven from start to finish, it felt like we were on our own little island. We stayed in the mai pai villa and it was even more beautiful in person. Special shout out to Ryan who was there to organise anything we needed immediately and the wait staff at the restaurant - the food was amazing. Literally couldn’t fault it.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and offered excellent, well-maintained rooms. The pool areas were spacious, and sunbeds were always available. The beach, bay, and sea were absolutely beautiful — perfect for snorkeling, and the hotel even provides snorkeling equipment. The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from.

Pros: Lovely small resort. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The owners and staff were all very helpful and friendly. A perfect place to relax.

Fabulous experience - wish I had stayed longer!

Pros: Location a little isolated but added to the peace and quiet and real Thailand experience. Food very good. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. Staff could not have done more. A bit pricier than expected but note that this is an island with limited options. The beach was amazing with perfect views of the Bay. Could not get enough of it.

Cons: Noise of sicadas and insects one night kept my friend awake for most of it! There is a bit of a smell in the kitchen when the doors are kept closed but quickly dissapates when they are kept open.

Go there.

Pros: The whole place was excellent including the owners George and Bee. There is an issue with low tide exposing rocks, etc. but working with the supplied tide tables no issue at all.

Cons: All was good.

Exactly what the Dr Ordered! Would stay again

Pros: I loved the service from Ryan! Anything we needed, we’d just message him and he’d organise it. I love The tranquil nature of the accomodation. It’s beautiful and peaceful. The island doesn’t have much in the way of transport but the accomodation will organise anything you need - which was incredibly helpful. The restaurant was wonderful as well.

Cons: Mai Cottage is partially open roofed which we didn’t realise. The bed has a fully enclosed mosquito net and fans. It was stunning and added to the real island, tranquil experience but just mentioning so travellers can be prepared with mosquito repellent.

Pros: The beach is right in front, beautiful sunrise. The room is so nice and comfortable and beautiful. The outside living room is just wonderful. The pool is perfect. Hornbills in the garden. Food and cocktails are excellent. Perfect place, people, everything.

Cons: It's not a resort at all. No Ac, you are in a garden with bees and ants and nature all around. So if you fear insects and need your AC this is not the right place. But for us it was heaven.
