Aochalong Villa Resort & Spa - SHA Plus

Beautiful grounds and pools, great location, welcoming staff.

Pros: Absolutely Beautiful property. Loved the landscaping especially and all of the lovely decorative touches. The view from our “pool view” room included the gorgeous courtyard pool and the mountains, it was perfect. Eggs made to order at breakfast was great, as well as all the fresh fruit and juices. The pool and all its surrounding lush greenery was definitely our favorite part. Lovely view of all the sailboats and islands on chalong bay. Attentive staff, resolved our plumbing issues quickly. Super close to chalong pier as well for easy access to boat tour day-trips.

Cons: Toilet got clogged very easily, oh well old pipes it happens. Google maps directions led us to a completely incorrect address the first time with the same name (but it didn’t exist) so be sure to double check your directions.

Pros: The pool is amongst an oasis of beautiful shrubs/plants and flowers. The staff were so kind and helpful. Loved my stay here.

Cons: Nothing- it suited where I wanted to be.

Pros: The Resort is located directly at the ocean. Everything is green. The rooms are big and have a lot of space. The breakfast offers everything you need.

Cons: The only thing that we didn't like was that you needed a car or taxi to get to town or beaches. Restaurants are in a distance of about 500-600m. But with 35° even this is not funny.

Relaxing stay in Chalong

Pros: The lovely calm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff Tropical surroundings

Cons: A bit too far from the main area, only one way shuttle to the beach, it would be much better if a return was offered

Cons: Floor in the room was very dirty even after housekeeping. Shower floor falls the wrong way so water collects around toilet. Mould in grout in shower was pretty bad

Beautiful and relaxing.

Pros: I loved this hotel! The decor and vibe were just lovely. The hotel is feeling a little run down but I think that only adds to its charm. I had a double room right beside reception and the larger swimming pool. My bed was huge and super comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. My only small issue could be no outlet for charging by the bed, and it’s a little out of the way so you need to have transport or use taxis. But I absolutely loved my stay and left feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Cons: No plug socket by the bed.

Pros: Friendly staff, good service, breakfast, good view at restaurant. Value for money

Cons: Location of hotel felt remote and out of the way to night life and shops, getting taxi was sometimes challenging, room basic, but spacious and comfortable. Shower very basic.

Pros: We was in room 107 best room on complex for sea view and location to pool all staff were very helpful

Cons: Breakfast was poor not much selection 5 out of 10 . Drink s were very pricey 120 for small Chang . Got to be very careful walking in to town on that busy main rd

Pros: Pools were both refreshing and peaceful. The view of the beach at high and low tides. al fresco breakfast and dinning. Quality and helpfulness of staff.
