Puean Chang Resort Phuket

Great stay.

Pros: The place is a beautiful, small, cozy, and charming resort — or, more accurately, a hotel — located away from the noisy areas of central Phuket. At the same time, it enjoys a very convenient location. There is also a wonderful park nearby, perfect for taking walks or exercising at any time. The hotel offers spacious rooms. The room is clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, with a high-quality mattress. Overall, everything in the room fully meets the expectations of the kind of vacation people come to Phuket for. There is also a small swimming pool. I would especially like to highlight the amazing staff — kind, welcoming, very friendly, and genuinely warm people who are always ready to help. Nice place to stay at Phuket.

Cons: I don’t want this to be taken as criticism, so I would like to emphasize once again that the hotel is truly wonderful. The staff are absolutely friendly, very pleasant, and professional. However, I would still like to mention that no one speaks English at all, and communication with the staff is extremely difficult and possible only with the help of a translator. Also, for the first time in all my years and throughout all my travels, I have never encountered a hotel without a reception desk — that is, without a front desk — and the owner of the hotel did not appear even once during my entire stay. This is quite an unconventional approach to running a business, but once again, I do not want this to be perceived as criticism. I was very satisfied with my stay and truly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, not overly expensive vacation in a pleasant and cozy place.

Pros: Recently opened, relax and remoted from noise small hotel. Very friendly team; we stay 4 days.

Pros: Lovely new hotel, huge comfy beds, very quiet and peaceful, and a lovely pool area

Cons: It is a little in the middle of nowhere, but can still get food delivered or bring your own there's a kitchen you can use and can still order grabs to wherever you need to get too

Pros: A great small resort in the middle of the island. Rooms modern, quiet and clean, the bed was super comfortable. WiFi and aircon worked fine. Pool clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they let our friends children use the pool, also lent us some plates and cutlery. There was a nice park nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Cons: The water pressure wasn't great

Pros: It was perfect resort, quiet place and super clean, and ofcourse owners was super nice :)

Pros: Everything was perfect! Very nice place, comfortable bed, very clean and quiet, far from busy roads so easy to sleep, and really nice people! they really help you with anything you need, so it is like being home! Will go back!

Pros: The place was amazing, super clean, nice swimming pool and big rooms

Cons: Location is a bit isolated but you can easily rent a car or a scooter and get around, we preferred to be far away from the mess but for some people might be remote.

Amazing little tucked away hotel

Pros: Staff were lovely. Room was lovely. Pool was nice.

Cons: The view wasn't great as building works going on behind the hotel but not a big issue. Steam room wasn't working when we were there.

Relaxing and nice atmosphere around the hotel.

Pros: It’s located in a quiet, local part of northern Phuket, but you’re only 10/15 minute drive/motorbike from the busy Bangtao area. Some might see the location as a drawback but if you have a motorbike it’s really not an issue. Also, about a 2 minute walk from the hotel is a nice lake which I went jogging/walking around some mornings whilst the sun was rising, so this was a nice way to start the day. The room was modern, the bed was huge and very comfortable and it has a smart TV so you could watch Netflix. The pool area was also very pleasant + there was a steam room next to it, which if you ask the staff they will turn on for you. Lastly, very kind and attentive staff.

Cons: Nothing, other than maybe get some dumbbells for the gym.

Quiet Oasis away from the crowds

Pros: Best room in Phuket! We loved everything about this place, great private pool, quiet and away from the crowds and Russians, the lady that is looking after the place is so kind and helpful, sparkling clean rooms with huge comfy bed and sparkling clean and fresh bed linen. The kitchen downstairs was a additional plus. Loved the chillout evenings around the pool and on the balkony. The rooms are spacious and just around the corner is a lake for working and running. 10 points ! thank you for a lovely stay!
