The Rubber Hotel Phuket

A great hotel within a good budget if you don't mind staying away from the tourist filled areas.

Pros: A great hotel in the perfect location, away from the tourist hotspots. The area, the people, it felt like home away from home. I have visited now three times, and any time I come back to Phuket, I will always stay here.

Pros: Location was far but still good as walking to big mall with lots of food options.

Cons: TV not working. Shuttle service is chargeable (which is mentioned on hotel site but not mentioned on Booking.com!)

Pros: The staff was really friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. It was very quiet despite everything being walkable, including a mall.

Cons: Not enough lounge chairs around the pool. No chairs on the balcony.

Good value for money

Pros: Lovely staff, gave us a room upgrade for free. The room was clean and they have reasonable facilities on site.

Cons: The building is old and not what’s on the photos, but otherwise everything is okay and functional

The bottom line is, would I go back the way it is at the moment? The answer is yes!

Pros: Easy parking. Two swimming pools. Buffet breakfast was included in our case, the staff that ran the breakfasting area were fantastic.

Cons: The room was outdated and needs an upgrade. The same was true of the corridor flooring.

Pros: Very clean, staff so friendly and great last minute booking when we had an emergency on our holiday

Cons: Air con was not good in the room at all, was so hot! And pillows very flat

It’s a fantastic value and highly recommend the hotel for those who want to be in the northern part of Phuket like Thala

Pros: The location is great, it’s very clean with 2 swimming pools and very very functional. The little door leading to Lotus makes it super convenient with lots of car park.

Pros: Breakfast was good, nice choice buffet style. Two pools were nice the larger pool across the car park was better my preferred pool. Quiet location with a 7 eleven and a few, small places to eat just round the corner. The arrangement of the rooms around a central pool was nice with plenty of comfortable seating around.

Cons: I would have like a comfortable chair in the room instead of a padded bench (just personal preference).

Perfect stay

Pros: Superb value for money. Rooms are clean and come with a balcony. Lovely pool as well. Breakfast has limited options, but is very delicious and sufficient. Location in the center of the island lets you go anywhere quickly by motorbike. There is a 7/11 and a Lotus with a nice food court just around the corner.

Cons: Nothing really.

Good enough for short stay

Pros: Helpful staff, clean rooms, big shopping center with food court nearby

Cons: Hotel is located really far from the beach, you need car. Swimming pool is located just in the hall, so from the early morning you may be disturbed by voices and noise, and floor near the pool is extremely slippery. The breakfast was quite poor
