The Light House at Town Phuket

Great place to stay to see Old Town

Pros: The staff were welcoming and helpful and very hard working. There is a laundry on site and taxi service available. The location was a 10 minute stroll from Old Town and 1 minute to the hourly free bus tour. The small pool and courtyard was a cooling refreshment in the heat of the day. Room service would leave a basket with water and toilet roll outside the door if you didn’t want disturbing. The smart TV meant you could log in to Netflix if you wanted to.

Cons: The meat at breakfast is highly processed - but there were eggs, toast, fruit, cereals and pastries too. We booked 7 nights and would have been happy to stay for the full duration - but the draw of the craziness of Patong Beach and the amazing snorkelling at Merlin Beach meant we chose to leave early. That was our preference not issues with the hotel which I recommend if visiting Old Town.

Pros: Lovely hotel with friendly staff in an amazing location. The room is very spacious with all free amenities. The hotel offers free breakfast , free pool table & free board games which is a bonus.

Pros: Family run hotel, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Phuket Old Town. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise (they should definitely include this on their property description). The room was somewhat basic, but perfectly fine. The plunge pool was refreshingly welcome, after a hot day. Highly recommended

Cozy place

Pros: There are no windows facing the street, except for a small window onto the internal balcony, but this doesn't spoil the stay at this lovely hotel. Clean linens, a soft bed. A small breakfast is also offered.

We love the Light House

Pros: It had a lovely family feel and was amazingly quiet considering it was only a 5 minute walk to the shops The staff were the friendliest hotel staff I have ever met and could not do enough for you Room was basic but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean

Pros: This little gem is right in the heart of old town . You can get to the night market within a 2 minute walk. Great location. The hotel is really good and the rooms are a great size. Bathrooms nice and big with hot water. The staff really kind and always helping. Complimentary breakfast and one of the staff brought every one a bag of pancake rolls. Love that. Thank you light house I will be back!

Pros: The staff and the owners are fantastic, twice got invited fot dinner. Everything is walking distance, very quiet, big rooms. Aircon is perfect, good shower, glad that i booked there.

Comfort in a Great Location

Pros: Good value hotel in a great location for the old town and its nightlife, restaurants and markets. The property is clean, the room is big and comfortable with fridge, kettle, coffee, good WiFi, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is only knee-deep but fine for cooling off or to soak for a while. The good complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus.

Pros: Lovely family run hotel where nothing was too much bother. Always smiling. Also there was a complimentary breakfast that was not on the booking. We even got a little key ring as a leaving gift.

Pros: The property is clean, the room is big. We only stayed one night as we wanted to be close to the pier for our morning transfer to Phi Phi and it was perfect for this purpose. It is walking distance to vibey night life, restaurants and markets. The staff are very friendly and even dropped us at the pier in the morning at no charge. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
