Baan Suwantawe

We always enjoy our stay at Baan Suwantawe whenever we visit Phuket Town!

Pros: Everything! Good location, comfortable rooms, a lovely pool, a very pleasant coffee shop & friendly, helpful staff.

Cons: It would be nice to have a safe in the room!

Pros: Great place to stay with families and the location is just walkable from the Phuket Old Town which is the main attraction in Phuket with weekend market around and has great restaurants near by.Also the property is very neat and well maintained. Definitely worth for the amount

Cons: We asked for an extra blanket for which they asked 150 Bhat for a night which i felt was crazy. Apart from this everything else was awesome

Pros: Lovely spacious clean room. Breakfast included was nice too. The staff very helpful and kind.

Pros: the property was clean and in a great location, close to the night market where you can enjoy live music, staff is helpful and attentive.

Cons: it was not so many place available where you can relax next to the pool, some tourists just put their towels there to claim the place in advance and went-off, which is very annoying, the staff must regularly check on this behaviour and remove the towels so it is available for other guests!

Pros: Great location close to the old town main streets. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom, efficient a/c system. I was allowed to leave luggage after check out as I had a late flight the same day.

Cons: There wasn’t much variety for the included breakfast. I don’t eat eggs or cow milk so asked to have jam with the croissant and oat milk with the coffee, and was asked to pay for this even though I wasn’t having the eggs.

Very good value for money.

Pros: Room was very clean and spacious. Daily cleaning service was excellent and much appreciated. Excellent location, town and supermarket all within a few minutes walk, yet the hotel was peaceful.

Cons: The pool looked a little tired with some green algae on the walls and some deteriorating decking. However still had some lovely swims in it.

Pros: Location was brilliant in Old Town. Pool was nice. Plenty of dining options close by.

Great location and room, but breakfast starts too late (8 AM)

Pros: The room was really spacious (the bathroom as well), with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, comfortable beds, quiet. The lobby is nicely decorated.

Cons: The breakfast starts from 8 AM, which is hugely inconvenient. I expect most people staying in Phuket Town take daily tours and get picked up before or around 8 AM. We barely managed to have breakfast on 2 out of 4 nights, so we had to buy something for breakfast in the store across the street anyway. At least there should be an option to book without breakfast and it would be guest-friendly to note in the description that breakfast is served from 8 AM. The remaining three hotels we stayed at in Thailand all started from 6 AM. Also the breakfast always consisted of one croissant per person and 2 boiled eggs per person, no exceptions, no alternatives. This is not exactly a continental breakfast. If one has allergies, must eat gluten-free or eats vegan again no use of this breakfast. Such a shame for such a nice hotel.

Excellent accommodation in an ideal location, great value for money.

Pros: Excellent location, a 5 minute walk into the Old Town. Large spacious room overlooking a nice swimming pool area. Staff were very friendly and a nice relaxed lobby area with a cafe.
