Royal Phuket City Hotel

A great place to stay if you’re planning to stay in Phuket Old Town.

Pros: The hotel was in a great location, located right next to the Sunday markets. The room was very spacious and clean, the staff was super friendly.

Pros: Bery clean, wonderful staff, always smiling and cheerful in front of the building there is always a man in a black uniform who greets you, which is very elegant Congratulations!

Fantastic location for ferry, very comfortable and clean.

Pros: Lovely employees, room had all we needed and was large and cool. Roof top bar needs a little make over but once again fab staff, cocktails and breakfast was very good. Best bit was convenience to the port.

Managers should be more flexible and ability to make decisions

Pros: Bedroom was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast very good

Cons: I had to change the date of one of my nights stay, so was staying same number of nights except one night was a different date. Agreed with staff member change and then advised by manager they did not have authority. I had to pay extra night . I have lodged a complaint with CEO and awaiting outcome.

Great location to explore Phuket old town

Pros: We used the hotel as our base to book tours to islands so we didn’t really stay in old town most of the time . The hotel has great location to explore the old town and everything is in walking distance . Spacious rooms and very friendly and helpful stuff . Perfect for families and people that don’t want noisy and crowded places like Patong .

Cons: The hotel is a bit old compared to other 5 stars hotels. Phuket old town is great for families but if you want more city life and night life then you should go to Patong or other places .

Excellent Hotel in a Good Location

Pros: This is a luxury hotel with friendly staff and many facilitiies. The room was clean and comfortable with views over the city (from the sixth floor). Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of European and Thai food. It was a ten-minute walk into the old town.

Cons: No complaints

Pros: Great location within walking distance of Old Phuket Town. Room are a good size and breakfast was nice.
