Hidden gem

Pros: I loved staying at Baan Orchid as it is such a beautiful and happy place. There is an adjoining pub, which serves great beer and food. The staff are fantastic and always happy. Joy is the lady at the front desk of the hotel and she is wonderful - so kind and helpful - she makes the whole place even better.

Pros: Nice spot to stay at , it’s not like a modern apartment but it clean and has all you need , and easy to pop in and out during the day , close to bars and 7/11 , and now I have a fish named after me as I saved them from a low water issue in the pond at 3am lol 👍staff were very very nice to deal with .

Pros: The location is clean, comfortable, near the patong beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They found a taxi for me to go to airport at 3h45 am. I would return to this location when I back to Phuket

Cons: It doesnt concern the location! the transport tuk tuk, taxi... is expensive. It'd be better to rent a motobike to move around

I liked the place

Pros: The place is very nice and the staff are awesome—friendly, attentive, and many of them speak English.

Cons: There are just two minor details: first, if your room’s windows face the bar side, it can be a bit noisy sometimes (though never at night). Second, the building is a bit old. It’s still clean, well-maintained, and in a great location, but it shows its age. Neither issue is serious. As for the food, the bar mostly serves English/Australian cuisine, which can taste as expected—terrible if that’s your opinion—though they do have Thai dishes on the menu, which is a welcome option.

Pros: Great team. Great Location (close to beach, 1 km to Bangla road and quite). Great beautiful courtyard. It is two star but a great deal. Lots of stuff around.

Cons: It is an older building and on first floor need to open windows on both side for air circulation
