Delightful calm boutique hotel.

Pros: Delightful small boutique hotel. Bon is just wonderful and incredibly kind and helpful. We felt happy every time we came back to the hotel.

Cons: Nothing really. The ground floor room fortunately has almost no noise from the busy street behind.

Pros: Beautiful room . Bon at reception was so helpful and took time to make sure our daily plans went smoothly

Pros: The location is great- just a few minute walk from the shops, restaurants, the beach, and bus stops. The room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was big and the balcony made the stay very relaxing. The hotel's decor is really nice. The bottled water was delivered every day. Our Host, Mr Bon was very kind and hospitable. He offered us some local breakfast treats, and gave useful recommendations. Also, we could leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out. For us, it was a wonderful hotel to stay. Overall, we find Kamala Beach a beautiful place.

Wonderful host and room

Pros: We loved our stay! The room was very clean and was actually better than the photos. A huge thanks to the owner/receptionist who was so welcoming and helpful with recommendations for the area and providing excellent service.

Cons: You have to cross a very busy main road to reach the beach and most of the restaurants. Also, the pool area is in the shadow most day and, but it didn't bother us as we were prepared for it.

Perfect, our first time in Kamala & the Unbrella House made it memorable.

Pros: Great location near shops but only a 8min walk to the lovely sandy beach. Property was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, beach towels supplied as was tea/coffee & water. We had a great balcony with a lovely view. Ben our host was polite, helpful & knowledgeable. Property modern well decorated & you felt very safe. Perfect stay for us.

Cons: Everything was great, yes there were stairs to our room as we were on the 3rd floor but it was our bit of fitness & wasn’t a problem for us.

Value for money, if you are looking at a homestay close to the beach but away from the noise.

Pros: Staff was extra helpful. Even helped with carrying the luggage to the 1st floor, as there was no lift. Location: Place is very close to supermarkets and restaurants. Beach is walking distance.

Cons: Drinking water provided was not enough. Could take some more green / sustainable methods, like reducing plastic

Pros: My stay at this hotel was simply wonderful. I spent a week here and from the very first moment I was only positively surprised. The hotel is clean, well-maintained and even though it is centrally located, it offers a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere without any noise. The room was spacious and spotless, the bathroom large and comfortable, everything was at the highest level — quiet air conditioning, a balcony and daily room service. A very special thank you to the host, Mr. Bon — such a warm, kind and helpful person who truly cares about his guests and their comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to come back.

The hotel was excellent value for money, modern and clean. The staff were exceptional.

Pros: The service from Bon, the hotel manager, was first class. Bon made sure I was up at 5AM for my flight. That was beyond the call of duty!
