Clear House Phuket

Small guest house with large clean room centrally located and near beach.

Pros: Small guest house with about 5/6 rooms. Large clean room with kettle and fridge with a bottle of water each and TV and WiFi. There was a small area outside the room with a clothes airer and also two chairs and a table to sit. Large shower room with separate toilet room. The owners lent us beach towels for the beach. Clear house was easy to find and is near the beach. Although it is located in a busy location we slept very well and was not disturbed.

Cons: No air conditioning in large bathroom / toilet area. We kept door from bedroom closed as was advised by guest house.

Great value in great location

Pros: The room was as described, each room has their own entrance with a little terrace. Very clean and spacious. Location is excellent, next to a prominent road and the beach, yet hidden enough so you don't hear car sounds etc. The owner/ receptionist was very professional and friendly . Great value.

Would come back.

Pros: For the price I've paid it was a 10. Few minor problems but they let me check in early. Bonus is the restaurant right in front, really good Thai food!

Cute and convenient

Pros: Excellent location. Stone's throw from beach, restaurants and bars. Friendly staff though limited English. Room cleaned each day without asking.

Cons: There are two Clearhouse Hotels, same owner apparently. Booked Phi Phi ferry pickup from Guesthouse but driver went to Resort instead. Sorted in the end but confusing for everyone. Photos and description on Booking.com an amalgam of the two separate places. No pool at my place.

Pros: It was a great location right next to the beach and a main street with bars and restaurants but also far enough not to hear too much noise. Great value for what you get.

Cons: There's not much to dislike, really

Spent three days at Kamala Beach and this room was perfect, would stay again with no worries!

Pros: Massive shower, quiet end of one of the road. Beach 2minute walk away. Massage, bars, 7-11, stalls, Everything you need close by! Sorted out laundry for me. Tucked away so was nice and quiet when sleeping!

A cute place!

Pros: Squeaky clean property near to beach! A quiet place with all the amenities nearby. They secretly cleaned our room when we went out on a beach. It was cute!

Pros: Room was a good size, cleaned rooms daily, 2 x bottles of free water every day. Very close to beach, restaurants & shops.

Cons: The only thing for myself and in my room was the curtains needed an upgrade and made the room smell musty, also would be good if you could use the curtain settings for privacy however these need an upgrade as well.

Pros: I had a great stay at Clear House Phuket. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable, with a nice modern design. The location is excellent — close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but still peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy Phuket. I would definitely come back.

Great vallue for money in a top location.

Pros: Great value for money. The room was massive compared to most hotel rooms. The Suite had a large main room with bed and roll-a-way bed, good sized table with chairs. A similar sized main bedroom with big double bed and nice sized lounge, plenty of room. Off this was a massive shower room and smaller bathroom with toilet. The location was great, it is on but hidden just off the main road and a short walk around the corner onto the beach. Would easily stay here again. We seemed to be the only ones there at this particular time (Tuesday to Friday in July), which was interesting, because it is such a great little spot, perhaps overlooked a bit. The staff are friendly and helpful (though this is my experience throughout our many stays in Phuket), so special mention only that it is a boutique hotel and so run by a live in family. Was very nice and friendly.

Cons: I missed having access to a pool, but then it is only a small hotel and couldn't fit one anywhere. The only other issue is that it seems to be a sister to a larger Clear House Hotel in Kamala Beach. So when coming here make sure you have a picture of where this one is on a map of Kamala (for your driver), as the other one is more commonly known and a little further away. In our opinion, even though it is larger, has a pool and looks a little nicer, the smaller boutique one we stayed at is a better pick, especially location wise.
