Chunut House Resort

The BEST all round accommodation on Phi Phi Island.

Pros: Don’t be put off by other ratings. This accommodation was AMAZING!! Very clean, cosy and out of the busy streets of Phi Phi. There was complimentary drink and fruit at the reception and our room was simply stunning!! We booked a triple room for two of us but think we were upgraded to a better double room. Staff were kind and porter was waiting at the pier who was so kind and carried our bags up to the room with a trolly/cart. There’s a lovely pool and housekeeping each day if needed. Perfect location, with 7elevens quite close (5 min walk), there’s also the viral Garlic 1992 Restaurant down the street. You get bathroom amenities (cotton buds, shower caps, combs ect) which was great. Huge smart TV on the wall! Would DEFINITELY recommend- do not miss the chance to stay here!

Cons: Wifi was a bit inconsistent - however wasn’t a major issue.

Pros: Nice location very close to the center but in a quiet area. The man at the reception was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were really nice and cozy with lots of greenery. Definitely recommend 💖

Great location and pool

Pros: Really cute hotel, rooms were lovely and modern and the pool was great. We also loved that they served breakfast until 5pm and the staff were very helpful.

Love a good bungalow

Pros: This is living in the Thai jungle, without living in the Thai jungle. It's probably as close as I would feel comfortable in doing so and gives you that vibe. The staff were incredible and I'd 100% stay here again.

Cons: There were some gaps between windows etc so bugs can get in. Douse yourself in bug spray and you'll be fine.

Pros: Spacious room, clean and central location (yet not directly in the chaos of phi phi town)

Cons: There was some miscommunication with the staff due to poor language skills - they helped us arrange a luggage transportation to the pier but didn’t understand that we wanted to pick up some items in person so we walked up to then learn that all our items are down at the pier already Otherwise all good but a bit pricey

Sweet and serene 🥰

Pros: Room was nice and clean. The location was convenient and pleasant - it was out of the way enough for some quiet but close enough to walk to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful - they came to the ferry and walked our bags in a cart for us.

Cons: Lots of mosquitoes constantly in the room even though all windows and doors were kept shut. I don’t know how they were getting in but we killed at least 20. The pool didn’t look very welcoming to swim in. The breakfast could’ve been a little more substantial.

Very underrated great stay!

Pros: The staff were very attentive, made up the room each day and changed the towels. It’s very quiet at night time, the room and bathroom was spacious and clean, the pool area was always kept clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helped us to and from pier with our bags. Also the free tea/coffee fruit was a nice touch.

Cons: The door doesn’t fully shut leaves a small gap which meant bugs got in, other than that lovely stay here.

Perfect I ended up booking another 3 days

Pros: We stayed in the cottage which was a lovely big room and big bathroom. Great pool and umbrellas for shade by the sun loungers. Staff were very friendly

Cons: The door didn’t quite shut properly which meant we had lots of bugs in our room.

Pros: The manager and the staffs of the resort was very good and helpful, they provided us with an extra room after the check out as the we went for squba in the morning. I would really recommend everyone to stay in this place as it is beautiful, value for money and very well behaved staff.
