The City Hostel

Pros: Great hostel, clean and well located. The host was incredible — funny, kind, and super helpful. They really made the whole experience 10x better. And the pancakes were honestly the best I’ve had — such a perfect touch to start the day. Would definitely come back!

The city hostel phi phi

Pros: The guys running the hostel were so friendly!! Even though I wasn't able to check in until 2 he made me pancakes. Watched by bands while I explored. Recommended a tour that was amazing. And very worth the price!

Cons: There was often pee on the toilet seats and bathrooms were stinky but the pee on the seats is really the others staying at the place that can't clean up after their messy void

Pros: Very good hostel, cleaned every day with a very cool staff. I recommend !

I’m coming back!!

Pros: Absolutely everything!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were always cleaning! The place is spotless. The staff also made pancakes for us for breakfast, and there were free noodles and biscuits, tea and coffee always. The beds are so comfy and the pods are huge. The curtain at the end of the bed blocked light well and honestly I haven’t had such a good night sleep since coming to Asia. Highly recommend this place- it was excellent.

Cons: Nothing. Centrally located, clean and so friendly.

Pros: It's so clean. They literally are constantly choosing the room and bathroom throughout the day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is right near everything and easy to walk to from the pier

Better quality than most hotels

Pros: Everything about this property was perfect, the staff were amazing and bent over backwards to help us retrieve some belongings we left behind. The amenities were kept clean and looked nicer than some hotels in Thailand. The beds were so comfortable and the location is close to everything but not so close that you can hear the music. Everyone was lovely and it was a great experience overall, would 100% book this place again.

Friendly clean hostel with great location

Pros: The staff is super friendly and make you feel like home and they keep the space very clean and there is many showers and toilets. They also rent out kayaks with the best price! Plus very tasty pancakes and bananas🥰

Exceptional

Pros: This was the best hostel. Every bunk has a light and plug and curtain and hangers. They have a separate area for the toilets and showers and most of the time there is enough toilets and showers for everyone. They have toiletries and wifi. They have free snacks and breakfast. The host is really fun. The locstion is perfect too.

Cons: In general in phi phi you will always hear the night life all night.

Pros: The hostel is right in the middle of happening in Phi Phi. Owners are super friendly. They make pancakes for breakfast each morning. You get to top them with bananas. There is a porch lounge, where you have access to wifi while observing people passing by. The water fountain helps with hydration. Perfect for my four day stay

Nice simple stay

Pros: Nice location, in the centre but away from the noisy bars. Friendly staff. Pancakes for breakfast were great. Good facilities in the bathroom and space for bags. Basic hostel with only 1 room but fine for a short stay. No area really to meet others except a sofa where the tea and coffee is on the Main Street.

Cons: Bathrooms need cleaning more regularly, many times no toilet paper or unflushed toilets. Very noisy group in the room woke us all up both nights.
